hi all, just a some latest pics of the baby.

I seemed to have messed up the air-pot slightly - in that I didnt not receive any instructions on assembly, so just threw it together how I saw it best. Unfortunately I started get water coming out the sides when I gave it like 1/2 a liter. So looked at the assembly instructions online, and it seems I have assembled it upside down...

Now, I could replant - but I hate doing that with Auto's

Anybody got any experience making the pot not leak water when assembled wrong? :)

thanks

Just fill it up with more soil, make a crater so to speak. More soil around the edges of the pot.

edit: But keep in mind that with air-pots some water will almost come out the holes every time you water...its a bit messy, but the pots are great.

thanks justinsane, never thought about making a crater - makes sense :)

You are welcome friend.

I know because the first time i used them pots i did the same, lol.

Good luck with your good looking baby.

Love Justin

just a pic of the crater - perhaps not the best angle, but there is a fairly steep incline down into the center (honest, trust me)

Also, didnt have any biobizz allmix left, but the hydro store kindly let me have a couple of liters of some kind of canna soil for free.

she is now officially one week old...

looks like she some slight stress going, I was worried that the 250w cfl would light stress her (it is 2ft above her). it could also be under watering, since she has only had 1/2 liter given to her four days ago (she in a 15l pot).

if you guys think it is light stress I could pop the 125w cfl in, it will just lower the temps a lot (would be below 20c) - I guess which one is worse light stress or cold?

although she is growing day by day and has her 3rd set of leaves coming, so cant be that bad.

also watered her 3/4 of a liter with some root juice and bio heaven in it.

A plant that size drinks nothing. You water loss is due to direct evaporation from the soil and air pots will aggravate that.

Here is a baby started in shady spot. 004.jpg Notice how long that stem is. It stretches for the light. This one has decided to grow almost on the surface of the soil. Leaves touching the soil = rot. 007.jpg Thus that gets moved to a shady spot so as to lengthen the stem and get those leaves off the ground. Under 20C your plants will almost stop growth. Wrap your tent in insulation material if it is getting too cold.
