hey curious about this unit!! my wife is asthmatic and suffers from bad allergies.. Will this be harmful for her? thinking of ordering 1.. Also how far does this beed to be from the grow area?
Hey Dank0r! sorry for the delay in reply... I don't think it will be harmful to her. I would not put it in the same room as your grow area but in a hallway or adjacent room/area. I keep mine on low. If it gets really stinky. Hope that helps!
Hey konehead! Cool! I have one in our laundry room and it smells like a swimming pool. That ozone smell. fresh and clean! Glad it's working good for you!
I have one but not the GT50 I have the Pure Plug looks just like the GT but with a blue light works good against all type of smells scent etc..can turn it on in the living room light up a fatty and say maybe 20 or so min a friend can come by and doesn't even smell I just smoked...takes the grow room smell too but after its off the smells do come back haven't noticed that with smoke or food though.and seems to work alright against mold..think it was 35$ on amazon.

It got me thinking after reading posts on ozone reducing mold, which is useful in a grow room(I have a dehumidifier).
I wondered if ozone would deter insects in a grow room. So I did a quick Google search.

That depends... If you are using it outside your room away from your plants (remember they cover a good amount of sq. ft.) and you don't want ozone directly around your plants. I still use a carbon filter as well as the units. I have one about 40 ft away from my grow room on that side of the house. So that depends. I wouldn't recommend it personally but I guess you could technically get away with one and not the other if you didn't have stinky stinky strains...
