Grow Mediums Oh No..BayLee420 Going Hydro

Just dropped two Amnesia Haze Autoflower beans in a cup of 5.5 pH water. One drop of SuperThrive added. Now it's wait and see.
Going to use rock wool.

Okay...once the beans crack and sprout their tiny root tails. I'll insert them into the whole in the rock wool. Pinch the hole closed and put in a small propagator. My question is when they show their heads..what do I do then. In other words...when do I start the DWC set up?

My way...after they sprout and have been up a day or two I take them and put them in the rocks.
Until the roots hit the water I keep the water level almost up to the bottom level of the cube and then I top water for about a week. Since you have the sprinklers you won't need to top water manually.

Do I start the drip (3 x a day or every 8 hours) and the DWC at the same time?
I don't drip feed I only top feed them by hand once every day or two the bubbles from the airstones seem to keep everything wet but I also use root riot cubes

The Amnesia Haze Autoflower beans were soaked over night in a cup of water; pH'd to 5.5 (added two tiny drops of SuperThrive) along with the rock wool cubes. They are now resting a dark room; in the propagator that is on a heating mat. 71% RH, 83F. These are NOT Mephisto Genetics beans...so let's see if they can beat MG's germ time.

Wait and see now.

I added 5 soaked rock wool along the edges to keep the propagator's RH up. The Hydron clay have been in the DIY DWC/Top Feed test run for a few days, so they are wet as well. Checking the prop. once in while to keep the RH and temp in check; RH (70%-80%) Temp (75F-80F).
