Hello Fellas!!! I am ready for @BayLee420 to test his new SuperPonic Hydro set up....Are you???

I just filled the reservoir with water. It took 3 gallons to come just to the bottom of the net cups.

Cleaning the Hydroton clay balls.

Ran tap water over them for a good 1/2 hour till no red clay dust and water comes out clean.

All clear after a good 1/2 hour flush.

Should I pH the Hydroton clay balls before using?

Air pump and air stones working. Will need longer tunes to connect the air stones. Seems to be working; lots of bubbles

Top Feed drip pump on. Need to tweak this. The pump needs a longer tube as well to keep the pump on the bottom. I have the timer (not shown) set for ON 15 minutes 4X a day.

The set up has a very nice white noise sound of a babbling brook.

.

Gonna enjoy this. Letting the set up run for a day or two.

Waiting for the postman.

Lots of bubbles is a good, no great, thing. Air is your friend with this stuff.

No need to ph them. As long as no dust you should be good.

@decat0921 and @Duckster. How do you start your beans? Do you paper towel germ and then put into the pH'd rockwool or just insert the beans and let them germ.

I have a small propagation set that can be used as well as a nursery heat mat.

Studied as much Hydro info as possible. Now just getting some starting advise from the experts.

Note: Had the SuperPonic on all night. Nice babbling brook sound. Working well.
@Rhyce Saroni We should get a small DWC set up at Rhyceland.

I soak mine in shot glass for 24 hours then into the root riot cube until they pop. Then right into the net pot.
There's a tutorial on here that one of the guys made about germing them in a Tupperware thing until they pop but don't remember who made it. That's basically the system I use for my hydro grows. If I find it I'll try to post a link but it's hard to do on phone app..
