There is Lots of Contrary theory about.

Grow your first one exactly as you would a Tomato plant on your balcony..no more Mystic than that.

Odour is always going to be a problem.
Jasmine is a perfect Mask for canna smells..

My patio is 3 floor up..so most of my smell goes over everyones head..but on the heavy overcast days with little wind movement it can reach ground floor level..when it does I flush jeyes fluid down the drain pipes to cancel it out.

Also..think of one of those room freshners that squirt a burst every 30/60/90 minutes..there is a glade lavender one that is quite effective..more reliable than having flowers in Bloom at the right time.

I wanted to thank you for your advice one more time! I did as you suggested and with a couple of minor bug issues and a couple of days of excessive heat, I think my single plant is doing well. I will let you judge from the pictures.

I was wondering how you were doing and BAM there it is. That girl looks great man! You will have some sweet smoke before you know it!

She has had her issues with thrips but I have battled and learned. My next grow will be better knowing how to handle these little bastards. The larger leaves are yellowing and I am plucking them as they become weak enough to come off with a light tug. The buds are swelling nicely and I swear they are starting to turn purple and are covered with a nice frosty coating. I may get a decent crop for such a small plant (19 inches tall). More pictures as she matures.
