Lighting Opinion on T-5 versus Epistar 100X3w led for first 14 days of growth?

What do you think? Would a t-5 in very close proximity(2-3") keep plants short and stacked like the 100X3w leds do? Considering working them into my routine as long as they wont stretch the plants as my finish section only has around 26" of actually growing space(mars and galaxy hydro 100X3 leds).

Have some girls under 110w T5 and they have kept seedling stretch at bay very well.

Think I might strap some all in one cobs on the thing and use it until they can handle my CMH

I call day 1 when breaking surface so add 3-4 days from seed

I have mine under 65W CREE COB first 14-21 days. You don't need much light at the beggining of their life.

I can usually keep them from stretching even with a 2700k cfl in close range, from sprouting 1.5 - 2.5 inches, a small usb fan to deal with the heat. Here's mine at day 14 (okay so it has had a bit of lst, but she's still tight ) CFL /T5 same-ish different kelvin I guess.
