This is the best thing I have ever done , and not for the reasons you may think , I have been in the food industry [ butcher - fisherman ] most my life . --- I am 56 -- and I am teaching my sons how to grow , as well as learning myself , I can see when they are a bit older they are going to have to know how to grow there own food , I have been reading projected population growth and food demand , and a lot more .

I can see there will be a movement away from city's . Here in Australia there is a slight increase in movement of people to the more smaller towns at the moment , and as I am dealing with the pubic all the time , I hear why they move here. Is it for the money --- No -- life style is there answer . I see a new wave of good people leaving the city' to bring there family up in a rural erea . If any of you guys that want to go down the path of organic it will teach you way more than growing cannabis . Sadly I can see my kids ,
[ 17 , 21 , 25 ] have a shit of a planet to live on 15 years down the track . I have been lucky to have lived in some amazing country [ ocean or bush ] Now I am not pissing in any body's pocket here , but I feel the vibe here it is what old mate called -- One Love -- Yer I know I'm yarning again .:vibe:

I totally agree with you. I am really disgusted by the way our society exploits and abuses the nature and the animals. Our society is driven by money and their greed for more is ruining our environment. Genetically modified food and dangerous pesticides, like Monsanto is producing and many other companies are producing, really shows in which direction our society is heading. We have to change our way of life and have to go back to our roots and implement the organic way of living if we want to give a chance for the next generation to enjoy a healthy way of life and not having to live in a world that is totally toxic and causes cancer and other diseases from the toxic waste that our generation leaves behind.

I myself have become a vegan since 2014 and live a totally organic lifestyle. I advise everyone to watch the documentaries called "Earthlings" and "Cowspiracy" to see how our society is treating the animals today. The earthlings documentary was the cause that made me become vegan and live an organic lifestyle. No animal and environment has to suffer from the agricultural practices of our society and greed.

Great idea for opening this thread @hecno :thumbsup:

We have to have balance my friend , We can sustain our self's by changing the things we think we need to have . In my house hold we have not had a Television for 4 years . Do we miss it -- no -- not at all , Computers yes . My kids are on face book ect , But it is the environment they live day to day that is shaping there lives , which I am happy for , because it will not be there for there kids if we carry on the way we are . We have to stop killing our Mother of all humanity .

The more people talk about it the more chance things will change. We in Alaska have seen big huge changes..... I remember when we use to get enuff snow to cover the house..... Now we barely cover the ground....... Things are for sure changing. We are seeing fish never seen in the area before. New bugs. Phrase for the day "Out of wack"

Just heard on the evening news that our fisheries biologists (AK) have said they can't predict this years salmon runs. That's a first, not that its always accurate but they usually have an estimate. The water temps in the north Pacific are definitely out of whack.

Did you hear about all the dead birds and fish? We had thousands of birds found dead all over the beach. Across the bay they found a whole river full of dead salmon....[emoji25] [emoji26] [emoji27] [emoji24]

Been hearing about the birds, but I'll have to look into the salmon die-off, didn't know about that.
