New Grower P. Cannabinoids La Diva, Jack herer & NL Grow in NFT - first time grow with pics

Hi Stylez, thanks for that. Aah, my first hit of a spliff in months, even if it's a digital one :)
Am leaning towards using it, and if you do then who am I to argue. Need my nugs to be as fat as possible so I'll give it a go.

Cheers

Just changed the Divas res to bloom, ec is at 0.6 to leave room for the Big Bud when I get it it monday. Looking good.

However, my Jack is looking worse than ever. Leaves & branches are drooping badly now. Looks like under-watering to me (but what do I know) so I upped the pump for a while and lowered the gradient of the NFT tank to stop the res going through so quickly but I dont see any change. Here's how she looks now.

The NL is also drooping ever so slightly, but not nearly as bad.
The EC is stable at 0.4 and the ph is stable at 5.8.
I really don't know what to do now, so I'm hoping someone can see something in the picture to diagnose the problem.

Looks a lot like over watering too. Or temp of the room?

Aha, it was the res temp. Have been really vigilant with res temp last couple of days and she's looking much better, standing up to attention once more. God I was worried about her.
Why did nature make this plant to have the same bloody symptoms for all ailments? Overwatered = droopy, underwatered = droopy, lack of oxygen = droopy :)

OK, here's an update.

The Divas are doing really, really well. Very healthy plants, actually still growing, despite only having bloom nutes!
Starting to see some proper flowers come thogether now.

They are drinking & eating like there's no tomorrow. In 1 day, ec went from 0.8 to 0.3 so I upped the feed. Strange cos they weren't eating very much in veg.

In the other tank, things aren't so great.
The NL is doing OK, despite the early nute burn

The Jack H is just plain bad.

I think that this tank has early root rot. I flushed it with Hydrogen Peroxide and it has cleaned things up but the Jack just isn't responding. It has been up & down recently but it's just plain sad now. I'm working on the assumption that this one is not going to make it :(
The NL has been a little droopy at times but seems to be much stronger and looks like it will pull through but I can't see the Jack making it to adulthood.

Proper newbie question here, but is it possible to make these 2 flower early to just get a few grams from them? I'd rather finish this grow soon after harvesting the Divas and wash my hands of it, but I guess it isn't possible.

Oh I forgot to say; I don't think the Jack is over-watered as it has a pretty impressive root-mass for it's size. Not sure if that's the only consideration for over-watering, but it does have roots all over the place, bottom and sides of the rockwool.

Quick update.
The smaller 2 are no more. They weren't growing or improving in any way so I switched their pump off last night and will dispose of them today. Completely wilted, deformed & not worth the effort any more.
I did flush them with H202 and changed their res but to no avail. I won't cry about it, I'll just put all my effort into the healthy Divas. Lol, cry, haven't done that in a very long time :)

So, I've removed the little messed up ones. Dissected the rockwool and it was easy to see the root-rot. The roots didn't look too bad on the outside but in the rockwool they were bad. They just pulled out pretty easily. Lesson learned.

On a more positive note, it means that I could centre the remaining plants and move the tank around to shed light on more spots. Got it dialled in really nice now.

Looking & smelling really good. Haven't got any bloom booster yet, but I have some on order so hopefully it should be here Saturday or Monday. Not sure if these will be ready by the 60 day mark, maybe I'll try to eek it out until about 70 days. I think we're on about day 37.

Big love,

PC

Hey guys, I noticed in the last 24hrs, some of the sugar leaves have started to droop a little bit. Lights are off now so no pics.
The fan leaves are fine, just the little sugar leaves.
I read that this can be salt build up, but I changed the res today with A&B bloom and Big Bud. Ec is 1.0, up from 0.8, so I'll see how they get on.
Bloom accounts for 0.8 and BB 0.2 (I'm using 0.0 ec water)

Could low humidity also do this? I read that sometimes it's genetic so I suppose I'll just have to wait and see.
If they have perked up during lights off then it could be low humidity, right?

Hehe, just found a little spiider near my tent so I found him/her a new home inside it. I know there are some dead greenfly and probably some live ones as well so hopefully he'll go to town on them.
I think I'll call him George. Hope he isn't going to bite me in the night. He'll probably stay in there cos it's nice and warm.
Would like to have some ladybirds, but no chance of finding any for months.

The sugar leaves did perk up during lights off, so I have some damp towels to up the humidity.

Would anyone like to guess when my plants will start to get frosty? No prizes I'm afraid, but kudos to the best guess :)
