Update both plants still kicking. I had to added a switch to control the flow to slow it down some as I can home one day and they were getting flooded.

Its really easy. There is a pump in the bottom in the plastic coffee can. It pumps water to the top of the 16 0z beer can. The beer can has holes about 1/3 way up. THe water drains out these holes and down through the strainer basket top I made back into the coffee can to be pumped back up.

Thanks so is this like an ebb and flow system? How often do you have the water running?

It would be cool to have a thread with the neatest/craziest/uniquest/weirdest/funniest/most bizarre growing setups. Ive seen a hydro setup made from a toilet- flush and pump back to the tank. I looked at an old foot spa the other day, with its bubblers and circ pumps and thought, Hmmmmm. Might make a good contest for this winter. Something different...

I just found this thread. Yesterday I planted a Jock Horror seed in a small pot for a windowsill grow.The pot holds exactly sixteen ounces of dirt. Is it too late to enter this contest?

I would like to apologize for not having this posted last night. Here in my neck of the woods the wind kicked our ass and blew the electricity out in the WHOLE CITY. went 6 hours with no electricity but its back up and running.

If Allowed Id like to make my offical entry. I did post once in here with my 3 PAK but i now i have ALSO 3 Bad Bettys and 1 double dragon I want to enter and i missed it yesterday but anywho....HERE WE GO...my journal update/offical entry.
