Indoor Pharmacy's Home

:) thanks, buddy. Cool grow setup you have in your icon pic, btw!

Funny you should ask; had a power socket burn out on me last night. Led in one port and fan in the other. Dunno what happened. So I moved it to another outlet.

Love the LED, the difference is HUGE! Seriously, I hardly ever stress out about temps anymore (for me, it was heat issues) and I run the panel at 12" above my canopy.

The only down side is that I can't adjust the height! You see: it has 4 wires that connect to a central hook, if I hook the hook to an adjuster, the (rectangular) panel will spin back and forth in semi-circles, lol! It's such BS....

Thanks for sharing your experience with me PHARM :smokebuds: sounds like i would need to rig up the hangers to make it a bit better. have u considered rigging up something to fix the spin issude??

as far as your grow compared to another...i wouldnt do that to your self. every grow is based on so many more factors than pot size and seed brand... from the nutes being used, the timing of nutes being delivered the tempature of the medium over the grow, was the seedling stunted at any point, did you have defciencies were he didnt....i mean the list goes on with out ever stopping it seems. If you dont feel this grow is up to par than take all you learned from this grow and others previously and read and learn as much more as you can till the next one cause thats the only way you will get better. i would compare your previous grows to your own current grows and make sure you are getting better from YOUR last time..thats what matters not what joe down the street is doing...

just my 2 cents PHARM!!

BEST OF LUCK!!

Damn, your totally right, SGA. Wise words.

I will try and solve the spinning issue in the future, for now, the light is at the perfect height (since my plants had already pretty much gone thru veg). Another down side is that the way that the wire hangs (the supports that come with the module) takes a good amount of room and is non adjustable. I wish I could be more descriptive, but I just woke up, lol. Like it hangs about 1 1/2 - 2 feet from the top of the tent and that is usable space I'm missing out on. I usually like my light to be able to only hang about 3-4 inches from the top of my tent.

I mean, I've never grown anything that big (when it comes to autos)... But I would still like the option too! Lol

I'm going to try and leave it 'as is' and try to let the plant 'grow into the light'. I know that your need to get close with LED's (12-18 inches is recommended), but just don't want to screw with it... Until I have to, anyways, lol.

Okay, I just watered the sh*t out of my TD (1 gal... That's a lot for me) and man, oh, man. She is the picture of health, today :)
I have been so scared of overwatering, that I seem to have been underwater? Lol

Hold up, let me go advanced here and post some pics up.

TD after heavy watering

My buds are swolle, now. He leaves are also 'praying' and very perky. IMHO, the praying leaves are a good sign and believe that it is a sign that the plant is happy, in my experience.

Never underestimate what a good watering can do!

I'm in roots organic, which is suppose to be coco based, which I believe requires (or can tolerate) more water. After a good amount of research, I went for it and am happy I made the decision :)

Took off two of my best fan leaves, it really hurt to do, but I needed to open up my canopy and give two buds sites some light, as well.

ive been looking at those LEDs and i see what you are talking about how it hangs. i think i prolly would run the wire from one side the other on one side and the same on the other than attach a light hanger in the middle of both wires from each side and you should be able to get it a few inches from the top...not sure if this makes sense if not ill try to draw a pic in paint or something lol

i always prefer to tuck or tie back the fan leaves so you dont loose the fan leaves unless they are 50% damaged then i take them out

Yea, pretty hard to make a mental picture of that, lol. But I think I have an idea, just tie a rope on either side to stabilize it? I have been thinking hard about scrog, when I do go for it, I'm just gonna duct tape chicken wire to my tent supports, lol.

I usually ALWAYS tuck, but this time the leaves were so high up that there was no place to tuck them underneath. It was such a hard and painful decision, but from my past experiences; I always regret not getting enough light to the other branches. I've heard that with LED it is not an issue due to increased penetration, but I rather not risk it and be absolutely sure that she is getting even light coverage.

Two of my best fan leaves :(

Hope I made the right call, boys.
