An update on my photoperiod Afghan Kush
My afghan should be finishing soon. It is advertised as a 'Pure race obtained from Afghani Kush zone'. I notice that the structure is a lot different from what I'm use to. The buds are really small and compact, almost like little marbles. Don't know what to expect yield wise, but I have high hopes and my fingers crossed
Ever since I have moved, my growing experiences have been terrible. Different conditions, a lot more bugs, a whole host of problems have arisen. I'm just gonna keep trying and trying until I get this down! I think most of my problems were coming from the extreme heat, but now it is cooling off and I'm excited to take advantage of that.
I also notice deep purple streaks on the afghan nugs I know that's usually a sign of some sort of deficiency or temperature problems, but it looks so nice.

That is some decent setup you have there man and a really nice tent. Would be following you and can't wait to see some fatass buds !!
Hey, killernecrox! Yea, I just got it, so far, so good. The TD popped her head outta the ground today. I can see the seed of the SAD above ground, I think she is tryin to push her way out. I'll upload pics soon
The TD really seemed to just jump out of her shell! She pushed the shell of within the few first hours, then she had that sack stuck on her, I removed it as carefully as I could and as soon as her cotyledons opened up (also happened in only a couple hours), her little set of true leaves were already developed and almost as big as the cotyledons! Strong start, I'm happy

very simple just build a wooden frame or even pvc (ive heard pvc can off gas and negativly effect your plant) but seen many people use both. i make a wooden frame the deminsions of the inside of the tent then add 4 wooden legs at the height you want it set at. run a trellis net across it and staple it down.... from there sit the plants under with a saucer to prevent a mess when you water and let them grow into the net and have fun training your ladies. you can get out for under $25 USD
it allows for alot of hands on time with your ladies which i love.
