3 of the autos out of my 9 dark devils looks absolutely shite and so fucking small in size. They look almost a week behind and dodgy as fuck just really weak looking plants. Am thinking its gonna be a waste of time ill get some pics up in a second but pissed off wasting time and money on a game of luck IMO with autos...more and more I find myself thinking they just can't compare to photos.

Sounds like the breeder did not do a great job. Happens with photos also. High times was talking about if you bought 10 seeds online, 2 would not germ, 4 would be male and of the remaining 4 maybe 2 will give you a product that looks like the ad.These were photos. I personaly think the auto breeders are doing a better job that that, with some phenotypes in most strains.
Pics? The thing about autos is once you pull the pin, that's it, you gotta grin and bear it. If you screw up a photo, you clip a clone and press reset...I feel you man, I'm on a photo kick now too for a while until after the summer when I focus on some more of Mossy's gear.
What is going on? Im also getting more into photos... I think for myself its more to do with a constant supply of meds.. I actually believe photos and auto co-exist very well together, one tent moms and autos, other tent 12/12.. always have moms that way, clones, and also every 70-90 you can throw autos in there for variety. :thumbs:

Bottom left is the smallest so took a pic of her and the the group shot. Not really impressed at all so far if honest. Hopefully things pick up for them as my mates big devils 2 impressed me enough to wanna try these dark devils. I'm doing 13 plants and want 15 oz from a 600w and 250w yield hasn't been the major issue in the past but mates telling me about their photo yields and laughing at autos.

But give another auto strain or two a chance its the same way with 12/12's it takes time to find one to make you happy.

ninja I dont see anything horrible going on there. i am not familiar with that seed company.They might just be slow growers. Do you have a veg bulb in there as it looks like a flower bulb from the picture?

Also I got some photo friends and we are having a little contest over the course of a year who gets more yield total and I am pretty sure I am gonna kick their photo bootys since I can rum em out faster and get 3 harvests to his 2 and his plants arent all that big. We are just comparing 2 plants at at time as he has a larger grow room than my little box and tent I can use in the winter. He had a few hermie issues with a few strains that is gonna help out some too hehehe.
If you want big autos grab some of Flash seeds super autos and then you will change your mind on comparisons if you are trying to do a apples to apples comparison on size and yield. LBH and Stitch strains can hang with pretty much most stuff out there in the photo world with the ease of autos.

Some folks do run photos 12/12 from seed in a perpetual grow. They don't ever get the yield of a vegged plant so they grow them small and dense. Yet this brings you back to autos. Why run 12/12 when you can run 24/0. You give your plants much more light.
You never said how old they are. They all look good to me.You have been on long enough to know that you don't get the big yields from autos that you do with photos,this is common knowledge.I still prefere autos for there shoerter grow time and smaller size allowing more varieties in a smaller grow area.
