Lighting plant photonics led

Hi all, Yup, it is a good LED, hand built, completely silent, coolest running one ive tested so far, OSRAM Leds, have just completed a comparison test grow journal with one over a Black Jack Auto, still waiting for it to dry before posting results but at a guess I got 3-4 Oz dry. Had a really bad start aswell as it ran so cold, the seedling nearly died, but it pulled it through.

Peace. Out.

Ummm trying not to be negative but that first pic you posted it looks like the whole light is mounted on a dry erase board? Looks like an aluminum frame of a dry erase board found in any office supply section...

Plus they only use 4 bands of spectrum, with no IR or UV not only that but a 280w light is 799 brittish pounds or $1337 to all of us yankees. For that price those lights better have their own self sufficient power source, water my plants for me trim and dry them and hand the buds to me cured.

Fair comment, ok, I'll post up a better pic of it, standing up not flat & hey, I didn't design it! but its a bit more sturdy then a erase board frame mate.

Very solid & good grade aluminium.

there is no light in the world that would do that for you. sometimes i think if a light or panel isn't grow northern or blackstar then no one wants to know about them. you have to remember that these lights were hand built by someone, not mass produced by slave labour :dunno:

I realize theres no light that will do all that for me but my point is that's a very expensive light. Slave labor or not I have to earn my money so either way Somone has to do work for the light. For $1300 I could light a 10ft x 10ft space. And also I don't own a grow northern or a black star. I own a mars ll led from topledgrowlight and it was a fraction of the cost and producing great results. The photonics lights have a bigger price tag than the premium lights on the market and are using 3 bands with 3500 k thrown in there. Old school lights that weren't very effective had 3 bands. Seems like they threw in 3500k to try and make up for a lacking spectrum

a lacking spectrum? did u check out the grow done with the led in question? 3 spectrums or not you cant knock 4-5 oz from one plant bro, how much would 4 oz cost you in the states? here it would be around 1000 or more so you would more than save your money in the first grow, its also the power draw which is a lot lower than most lights but still produces enough light to give you the said 4 oz and with practically no heat at all from them is another bonus. i have a grow northern and i love it but i just thought this light was something different from the normal leds that are in the market ie grow northern, blackstar, helios, well you get where im going lol im not knocking any of those lights i just thought it looked cool and wanted to know if anyone had experienced them before

yeah i seen it bro i probably should have worded that better, what i meant was the more mainstream companies/products, that light looks like the dogs bollocks i could only wish to own one of them lol

To each their own :) Just voicing my opinion that more light can be bought for less money... If you are happy with it then rock on. Just saying I bet my $200 light can produce 4 zips no problem in fact Im expecting over 3 zips in about 5 weeks, could have been more with maximum number of females in my space, so far nobody has told me anything this light can do that others don't for a fraction of the cost Also the price of Herbs depends on where your at in the country. Im in Cali and we are swimming in a sea of buds so that makes the price drop. A QP (4 oz) would run me about $800 or 480 pounds. I would pay more but it would have to be ultra premium high grade OG Kush. The price of herb shouldnt ever reflect to the price of grow equipment. I shouldnt pay more money for a light because of the market value of herb..

Also I didnt read any journal about that light because one was never linked and when I go to all threads created by alpha omega he only has 2 threads that arent a journal. All we have so far is pictures of the light and a seedling.

If you are happy with the light then Im happy for you as well, good luck in all your endeavors!!
