New Grower Plz could someone help?

Looks like the popular vote is cal/mag, so you might want to rule that out before treating for something else

Hi everyone,
I had to go away from friday morning just gone untill tonight" m8 was ment to be looking after my plants but turned into a complete fucking knoob head.
He went out all weekend instead and left my plants in his bedroom with the window open and the room dim" he was ment to give they some epsom salts and water them! They are droping from the soil drying out, plus haven't been treated for the problem they had before all this shit.
Is it best to water from top or bottom to get water into them

Ill water from top i think, ive put half a ml of superthrive into 3ltrs of water as it says to put 1ml superthrive into a gallon of water from stress.
I'll water them and put some epsom salts into a spray bottle tomorrow and mist them like someone said to do? Unless anyone else thinks differently????

Don't freak out and over do it, like I wanted to do every time something went wrong, but you do wanna treat them for the cal mag issue.

Hi Pot Smoker, What I would do would be water (plain pH'd water) from the top is fine but pay attention to how heavy the pot is before and after. Sometimes it takes some effort to re-wet soil that has completely dried out. You may want to add a drop of plain dish washing detergent (not what you would use in a dishwasher) to help it soak in.

Depending on how dry and for how long there may be some root damage so the Superthrive is a good idea. Once they perk back up you should be able to use the mag spray (if anyone disagrees with this speak up). Don't give them full light until they have a chance to re-hydrate. If you notice them wilting a bit once they are back on full
light it would be a sign of more extensive root damage and you would just need to go easy until they get back to normal

No nutes for 4 or 5 days until they have a chance to recover.

They don't look too bad so other than some slight stunting they should be ok

Oldster has it right, absolutely nothing until they are looking better. Like he said it is going to be a PITA trying to get that soil moist again. Water very slowly until you see runoff, let it sit for 5 minutes or so and water again very slowly. What you want to do is give the water time to be absorbed by the soil because there are going to be patches in the container that are dry no matter how slowly you water it. If you give them time to absorb some of the water then the second time you water it about 5 minutes later, the soil will absorb more. The biggest thing is to make sure you water all of the pot. In other words, start at the center and work your way around the stem and out to the edges of the container. Try and get the soil moist as evenly as possible.

Best of luck! Also like Oldster said, they should be fine but you may see some leaves die off. Won't be too big a deal.

Hi guys thanks so much for the advice and get it done now, when i water my plants i normally give them abit of water and let it drain down, its about 15-20mins before i add more" it takes me about an hr to hr and 20mins before it starts to run out the bottom.
With the dishwash stuff ive only got washing up liquid" is that the same? And should i scrap the water i got with superthrive in? And just go with ph'd water

Im getting some black strap (molases) dont know if i spelt that right? But im getting some tomorrow lol

As long as your washing up liquid is not anti-bacterial it is fine. I think the Superthrive water is ok as well, I have used it several times on plants (not canna) that had root damage to help them recover with good effect.

Superthrive won't bother them as little as has to be added and may be effective in helping. The biggest thing is stay away from salts (ie. nutrients) until you have them perked up again. From the looks of their color, they had plenty of nutrients before the soil dried out anyways. Could be that there is still a lot in the soil. If you see the tips starting to burn tomorrow after a good watering you may want to run some more water through them at that time to get some of the nutrients out. If you have it, a small humidifier wouldn't hurt either, running around 60% RH. If not, no worries.
