I would switch over to flower bulb when vertical growth stops,usually week 5-6

X2, what phoenix said! I wish I'd read Muddy's life Cycle stickie before changing anything.
My lights (HO T-5 and CFL) I used a mixed spectrum the entire grow, heavy on the veg bulbs.
Don't make the mistake I did and swap to flowering nutes too soon.

Thanks Red for sticky, ill read that now. So what happened to your plant by flowering it to early ?
Phoenix i have been over everything with it at least 5 times and cant think of any single reasons,
to why its any different with the filter in the grow box or out like mine. I wouldn't change anything
on it but the ducting size, i would go for 5 or 6 inch instead of the 4 inch i have at the moment but
it all works for me and im proud of my work :smoke:

I'm a new grower myself, Jack: when I saw my gals flowering, no brainer, switch to flowering nutes, right? NOPE! :tiphat: By swapping feed too early, I was focusing the plants attention on developing the bud sites it already had, instead of leting it grow and flower to its full potential.
The lower N, higher P & K radically slowed the overall growth of my gals and resulted in lower yields.
If space is an issue, an early swap to flowering nutes can keep your gals from getting too big: but if you have the room, let 'em run! :howdy: When the upward growth stops, then bang 'em with the flower food. :gthumb:

All Correct ....
But dont Get to Excited if she Starts to.grow taller ....they usually stop.ir gain very slowly around 5-6 weeks ..
I ease Bloom In between then But its all on the Strain ...Ive had some Grows that they didnt Like Bloom till week 7 ...and thats only on a Dragon i had with Cheese in it ...

During Flowering Ur Plants will Gain an Inch Or 3 more but not alot or drastcilly ...
