personally I don't use all that stuff in a week or two the plant should be covering the lid so it won't get seen again, wrapping the buckets and water cooling I don't know I just grow if you keep the room comfortable that's all you really need ...too many things can go wrong (or right) if you try to get too technical with the grows ...basically I use a bucket, an airstone, some windshield reflectors, some lights, a fan, and my meters ...all that other stuff I've never worried about...you can make a shroud (tent) around your plant using magnets and clothes pins to hold the reflector material off of your light fixture (see photo) also you can tack the reflectors on the wall (not in the picture) you only need to go from the top of the bucket and up no need to put reflectors to the floor if the plant base sits higher... I find this works well ...when it comes to my 'grow room'my rule is.. 'don't make anything permenent' ...as I am always 'adjusting' things and it's cheap enough!...hope you don't mind my input just some things I've learned ....'Bud Luck' on your 2nd attempt! 
Submitted my order today for panda film, two zipper entrances, a 100gpd ro machine and calmag. No hauling water from the store for this guy. I'm going to hang the lights first, then section off 4x4 foot area, with my two 250w hps/mh lights there reflectors will pretty much be close to touching one another being in a standard light reflector.
Sounds good bro. Good call on the RO as well, that be too much water to buy and haul in.

if you spread them out 1-2' from each other you can get what is called the 3rd-light effect (the overlapping light rays cover what would take 3 lights to cover)
Good thinking, in that case there would be one light per side of the grow area, eliminating shadows. I already have a T plumbed into the cold side of my kitchen sink water supply with a 1/4 turn supply valve to control flow to the ro unit. The discard hose from the unit will be plumbed into the tailpiece of my sink by means of a drill and grommet, plenty of height above the j bend. Lights will be here Wednesday. That's when I think everything will start to take form, right now the room just looks like a jumbled group of buckets tubing and pumps.
Water weights what, 8 lbs a gallon? Not to mention the 15 mile drive to town, yea, will fuel costs added in the unit will pay for itself in no time. And I'll have a fresh supply of drinking water. My taps around 362 ppm eeek!
For sure it will, I'm assuming your on city water? I got lucky with my supply from my well, 8 ppm. Have to supplement it with calmag. While on that subject, before adding anything to your res calmag needs to be first. I'll bring my water up between 125-150 first thing with the CalMag.
Holy hell, 8ppm? That's incredible! My folks are on well water and one day I checked there water with my tdm meter and it read 180. And yea, I'm still on city water. I'm keeping my nutrient pretty basic, power plant gro and bloom with calmag is all I have planned.
