Grow Mediums Popping my grow cherry

image.jpgimage.jpgUpdate, roots are almost through the bottom of the pots, there starting to "peek" around the corner. Ppm of 380 ph at 5.8. Real quick question, in the pictures attached, does this resemble heat stress? I keep the room about 75 - 80 depending on time of day and lights are on 24hrs. Ay help would of course be appreciated. P.S. thank you for holding my hand through my first grow!

Looks the tips are curling slight up the way looks like a small bit of heat stress. How close are lights? Your temps are fine man.

I'd suggest bringing the pH down to 5.5 they look a little light. Was the pics took under the HPS? The temp is okay, hold your hand over them for a minute or so. If its too warm for your hand its too warm for the plants.

That's what i was wondering, temps are good, but still stressin lol. I just raised the lights an hour ago, they were 20 inches above, I raised them to 24 inches and tilted the reflector so the plants don't get so much direct light. I've heard of this kind of thing happening with heat, but I didn't think it could happen with light itself.

Jackal, lights are currently mh I just fed them. Should I flush with ph correct nute?

I don't see a need for a flush just drop the pH a tad, 5.5-5.7 veg 5.8-6.0 in bloom

Damn jackal, u always got the answers. Maybe I didn't use the right word, I'm still hand watering for another day or two, I guess what I meant was if I should run corrected nutes, or let it ride til tomorrow when I'll water again

Ah, there's really no need for hand watering just raise the water line so it's up in the net pot.
