Lighting Possible COB upgrade?

I do have a volt meter. I am pretty embarrassed to admit this but I'm not really sure how to use it.
It's more embarrassing burning the thing up because you didn't know what you were doing vs learning something. I'm sure some of your own talents would embarrass some of us. Afn is here to help my man.

Speaking from experience I will tell yo the lights will make a huge difference regardless of the program you run. All of these lighting systems will grow and flower. It is not about that. It is about how much energy you use to produce this and how efficient the lights are for that energy. Simple cob setups put out a great deal of light with very little conversion to heat. Cooler grow space is a good thing particularly in small spaces. Be prepared to up your use of Cal-Mag as these guys really use it up.

I grow with citizen 1212's now and cannot fit two plants where four grew before. And the difference in vigour is striking.

16x8 is an interesting space. Should be an interesting grow.

16x8 is far from ideal. My last grow produced me almost 2 full oz with almost another ounce of popcorn and trim on 1 plant . I can only imagine what is possible if my light is upgraded.

Here is my volt meter. Unfortunately the wire came loose from the probe as soon as I walked in the door.

Is the probe broken? What does the end of wire look like?

The settings on the meter you need to select is DCV 200.

The probe is toast. You need a new one.
Ok lets test the meter. Get a battery any standard aa c d type. Select DCV 20.

Place the probe on one side and red wire to other side the battery. You should get 1.5v or higher. If that works you still can get a reading from your drivers. I would feel better if you had new probe.

I agree. I can stop at radio shack or harbor freight tomorrow and buy a new pair of probes.
