Potassium deficiency I believe. Which fertilizer? Also, I have no males for a seed grow!

Okay all, you've been so helpful. This is what I did. I took tap water that I had run last night, in the bath tub actually. I filled gallon jugs, added 1/4 strength Big Grow (1 and 1/2 teaspoons), and then with 1/8 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, I got the PH of 6.5. Then I flushed the of soil on my sick plant with about 3 gallons of the solution. The final runoff is 5 PH. It may be about 4.8 or 4.9, but very close to 5. So with that PH runoff information, what do you all think I should do at this point with my future watering of this sick plant, and all my plants? Just what I've done here? Just keep my water and fertilizer solution at 6.5, and call it good? I feel a bit foolish being so needy, but I sure do appreciate all of you and your advice!:grat: So wow....my runoff WAS 4.5, and I only raised it to 5. Here's a questions I should have asked: what should my runoff PH be? My sick plant is in 5 gallons of soil, so I probably didn't flush sufficiently. I ran probably 3 gallons through the soil. I could probably do another few gallons this evening if you think it wise. Anyway, I'm on the right track at least now. Because of you all and your help, I know proper PH for my water/nute solution is 6.5, and I now know how to raise and lower that. I just need to know the proper PH runoff and I think I can grow this stuff:clap: And proper PH runoff is?

ultimately you want it going in at 6.3 and coming out at 6.3 or as close as possible. It may need more flushing. Flushing with straight tap water at even 7.0 is much better for the plant than a 4-5ish ph. Then feed after the flush. (I'm pretty sure grow big says 2 tsp so divide by 1/4 and feed 1/2 tsp per gallon. big bloom is mostly organic and microbes so it can be stronger and not hurt)

Don't worry about asking for help. That's the purpose here and how I ended up here as well. This forum has good karma

Thanks Happily! I'll flush some more, then feed.

Ummm. I just realized I used 1/2 strength Grow Big, not 1/4 strength. Man, I've been screwing up and screwing up. Guess I'll go flush 'em again with 1/4 strength. :face:

Okay, did it. Hard to read the exact runoff PH with the drops. I'm going to go buy a decent PH meter tomorrow. Guess that's why I own a Visa card....
Here's a pic. I was flushing them in my bathtub. The one on the far right is the sick one. She's a week older than the rest. Looks like a nute lock; not getting potassium and such. So I flushed and fed. Look at that crazy tall one next to her. Several inches taller, all airy and few leaves -- just a different phenotype I guess. Same age as all the ones to her left, but look how tall. Have you seen anything like this in one strain?
Hey, here's a question: if I know the PH of the water going in, and I know the runoff PH, can I use those two numbers to get the soil PH, or do I need a separate soil PH meter? Thanks!

supposedly if the runoff is a point lower then the dirts 2 points lower if runoff is if runoff is 2 pts higher dirt is 4 pts higher basically double the difference. Probably not precise but definitely ball park. There's only one good soil ph meter on the market. A good water meter would be better. I need to get one but you could get by alright with the drops. Different plants will definitely have different heights. Looks like one stretched for the light and the shorty's had plenty of light.

I'm not following the points for dirt, points for runoff.... It's been a long day I guess. And no, the lights have been the same for all of these ladies, the tall one is just a model, I guess. Ha!
Oh, and I noticed that the other plants are starting to get the orange spots now. Ugh. I realize that it will takes a few if not several days to tell if my flushing and feeding helped; but what a bummer.

rust spot is cal/mag usually because of ph. Its gonna show a few things in the next few days between the lockout and flush. if you get your feed and ph right it will be ok but those leaves will look the same (ph example.....water 7, runoff 6, it dropped 1 pt so dirt is 1 more meaning 5......another: water 7, runoff 8, it raised one pt so dirt is 9 etc)
