New Grower problem with indoor growing very small and slow

you right... this is peat moss no coco

and i use Tap water (i dipping it 12 horurs because we have Chlorine in the water)

should i use filterd water?

ok so i make run off and the result is:

ph in water - 6.5
ph in soil ( the water come out from the soil after watring right?_ - 6.6

so what we do now???

start to mix filter water with my regualar water?

i had venta to the room that take the air out (shold it be in?)

6.6 is fine. Just leave your water out for 24hrs to get rid of the cloriine.Venting the air to the outside is fine as long as you have fresh air coming in either from a fan or a vent opening.:smokebuds:

Hello Killered, filtered or bottled water without chemcials will work best. The peat or coco will act like a sponge and hold the water a long time. The first few inches of soil will feel dry but the lower areas will still be wet. The plant may only be 1 or 2 inches tall but the root is much longer, maybe 4 or 5 inches. If the root is in really wet soil it can't get nutes or air. Let the soil dry, maybe a week, until the plant leaves ask for more water. Watch the leaves. Namvet25 knowes his stuff and can help you through this.

Ah it's all learning. You have to mistakes, then learn but never give up.if the genetics are right even a small .5gram or 1gram frosty bud is still a pleasure to punch.
My first grows we're terrible yields but oh so much fun in the learning.

Ok to clarify because coco should be treated dif than peat as one example coco holds salts much worse than most peat but that is a dif post

Tap water can be fine depending on the area you live in

I would hop onto the municipal water web site for your local location on that site they will have the water standards from testing posted My water is slightly high in sodiumother thsn that it is really pretty good so i use a third r/o water mixed in to lower the sodium percentages but i wouldn't even really need to if i wasn't picky
R/O water is great but lacks calcium and other elements
in city water you can have good or bad levels of theese elements so you need to have a look at the testing or test yourself to be really sure but my city water is pretty good using it i rarely have to worry about cal issues
But the other reason i say to go to the site if you use city water is to look at the chlorine
Chlorine is fine and honestly most will disipate as it airates going from the tap but setting it out or bubbling it is good (ie.extra oxygen faster chlorine disipation but you don't haave to bubble it for 12 hours in most situations to remove chlorine ,anyway sorta dif post) for a few reasons but...
the problem is.. are you really sure your city uses chlorine or chlorimine??
Chlorine=will shortly disipate from water naturally
Chlorimine= will not disipate and needs to be filtered from water before used on plants
I ask this because people may think there is no chlorine in there water and ph look fine and adjusted
When you got the reading of a 6.6 had the light been on before wattering if so for how long?
the reading will be more acidic during light hours due to more exchange occuring so if this is so you might have an actual medium raising past proper ph levels to the higher above soil that has water too high in ppm or chlorine in water being used

if you are watering w/ higher ppm water that is locking out elements than at the top of the bucket is going to to concentrated than the buildup at the bottom of the container
checking ph runoff only gives an idea of an overall container ph and average if you will, not an individual container layer ph and ph fluctuates throughout container
so a smaller plant in a larger container would hide this alittle longer while it was happening
along w/ the struggle of the light being a tad close while it was having other issues you will get there it takes time
hope this helps alittle

ok we have some update

hey brothers, i have some update after the helo you give me 10x all of you~!!!
the problam was the tap water, i change to mix filterd water with ph 6.5 and i think it make the diffrent( italk about the smaller one in the start of this topic the first to are harvest already and give me nice 1g from both hehehe)

so i had some picture this is amnsia original auto after 25 from seeding
tell me pls when i need to move to bigger pot?

after this i staart with to new babies the now on day 3 and just sprut from soil

i should give them the smae water with ph 6.5 in the first stage of growth?

If the plant is 3in the root would be 6in or more, maybe. If the pot is only 3-4in the tap root will grow sideways and stunt the plant. Deeper root = taller plant, generally. Many people have no problem transplanting but I have just felt to many things could go wrong. I germinate in the bag the plant will grow in. I am just compleating my 3rd sucessful grow so make sure you check with namvet25. The ph of your runoff is as important and the ph of the water you use. Someplace on the site is formula, ph 7.0 water-ph 6.5 runoff could mean 6.0 soil. Small pots are ok if you want small plants.

Unless you want small plants.I would transplant them into a two or three gallon pot or even bigger.:xmas:
