Pure Michigan, Poor Genetics

Only 2 out of 5 seeds germinated. I was able to get a 3rd one to sprout by filing the end but now it's grown a little it's obvious nature didn't want it to sprout from the start.

Seeds cost way too much to accept this type of product. Especially considering my results with popular white label products have been better.
Did you get the 5 pack straight from us? We put 6 seeds in every 5 pack.
We germed a bunch without any issues and are doing a fem seed run now of them. Sold out. Sorry all yours didn't all pop but I don't think its an issue with my seeds.

$28 for 6 beans and 2 freebies
3.50 each
We make our autos from photo's and spend 3-5 years on each one. I think the price is cheap compared to just about everyone else.

What is your order number?

Wow. Yeah, that sucks. We're getting raped on the price of seeds. Genetics need to be on point to justify such an expense.
Why do you think that? What's you price point for each seed? If you're going to buy seeds you should get them straight from the breeder if you can. imho

As @Entombed said, definitely recommend @Jean-O from Michigan. Jeanosgenetics.com. He's got tons of indoor and outdoor threads on here and he hooks up orders :pass:
I've perused his site and I like what I'm seeing. From now on, I refuse to patronize any business that isn't thoroughly vetted. The, "Calling Out Bad Autoflower Genetics/Actors" has brought many issues to light. I'm only half way through it though.

Order number 2034. I paid $54.99 total for 10 seeds. That's roughly 5 dollars per seed and frankly it doesn't matter if they were only 2 dollars. I work hard for what little money I make and throwing it away on what is essentially a defective product is unacceptable to me.

I was under the impression he bought them from Twisted Tree. I bought them directly from the breeder and have also experienced subpar results.

There was also another thread about poor quality and there's another poster here on this thread who had an issue with the Pure Michigan strain. The problem is the strain, not the end users. An obvious pattern has formed.

Also, a decent reputable company doesn't make excuses for a poor product and look for ways to cover it up. Instead, they focus on correcting the issue while helping the customer get what they need. I'm contemplating filing a chargeback with my bank over this.

Hey @jimmywells - Iampepe has been pretty cool to message/PM/DM with. Maybe you guys could talk about a solution that works for both of you. I can understand your frustration though. Mang, have you seen the price on Mephisto seeds? Like $15 each!

@iampepe - I also recently had trouble getting the Pure Michigan to germ and I ordered direct. However, my Stargazer seeds have been super easy. So I dunno. I chalked my fail rate up to being a new grower but the difference between packs was noticeable. Could have just been a tough batch of seeds. I'm not hatin' and you hooked up the extras so I felt my order was reasonable on price.

Everyone is in a different situation so for me, pack didn't grow? Eh, buy another try again. Other folks I totally get it being a significant cost. I don't see Twisted Tree or Pepe making excuses just some questions to get things sorted.

Aight, y'all have a smoke, chill, & chat with each other. Just my take on it.

So did you just join AFN to throw shade on me and my work? Explain to me how your attempt to germinate seeds are my fault and that they are "Bad Genetics"? I've made thousands of them with a couple complaints. I dont see how that equates to bad genetics.

Did you try to germ those seeds outdoors in 5 gallon buckets? What were the soil temps? Imho you aren't setting yourself up for success by growing in a bucket. How long have you been growing for?
