Hey guys,
Im have a 5x5x6.5 tent which currently has an 8 bulb T5 fixture inside + ventilation/filter - Image's below, very simple at the moment.

I've got a 600w(320w Actual draw) LED on the way, which I plan to use to finish of my current grow, and then i plan to get a 2nd light fixture(the same as the first) brining it up to 1200w(640W actual draw), however
I would also like to incorporate a simple DTW system, as im using coco, watering is almost daily and I'm 30 days in, I dont actually mind having to water once a day, but having drain to waste would save alot of mess/concentration/kneeling/back pain/etc lol..
I'm looking at this DTW system or something similar, the dimension are as follows - 4'x4'x20"

Now my question is, With this table being 20" & my smart pots are 10" standard(they are currently folded down 1-2 inches at the top but hope to avoid that in the future)
This takes my soil level or seedling height up to 30" off the ground, if you see where i'm coming from.
Im not going to take the tray depth into account, as im probably going to place a layer of hydroton undearneath the pots to keep them off the flat surface for better drainage.
Now the tent is 6.5 feet/78 inches, 78(take 5-6 inches off for the LED fixture dimensions & leaving a gap between the roof so the LED's get sufficient ventilation,
this brings me down to a maximum gap of 42" from soil to LED bulbs.
So as mention above, as a seedling, the maximum distance from a 600w(320w actual draw) will be roughly 40-42 inches.
If I have a 2 foot plant, I will have roughly 18" gap,
If I have a 3 foot plant, I'm only going to have 6" between the light and the top of the plant,
Now I know all light fixtures are going to different etc, but being completely new to LED I don't really know if this is going to work out.
It may even be an unanswerable question and testing may just have to be done, but i do appreciate any help you guys can give!
Anyway, hopefully you guys can make sense of my ramblings and perhaps throw some answers/ideas at me.
Thanks in advance.
Peace! :Sharing One:
