New Grower Questions, questions, questions...

Thanks for the help guys! I should be starting up this grow either this weekend or within the week. When I say starting I really mean ordering things lol. So it may be a bit later, but I can't wait!

As for lighting...does grownorthern ship here to the US? I really want a there ms0006 but for some reason I think i've read that they only ship UK? I could be wrong and thinking this for no reason but correct me if so.

Basically at this point I believe I have everything figured out. The only thing I'm worried about is consistently getting the right PH. For example...somehow getting a bad reading and using the water...I suppose I'll test twice just to be sure. Once electronically and once using strips.

Just looked at the grownorthern website and spoke to someone. The live chat rep I spoke to said they offer free shipping to the US. I'm going to pick up the ms0004 for around 189 euros, or 300 USD. It's a little more than I'd thought I'd be spending, but I definitely think it's worth it. I've decided to go with dutch passions as well and grow Think Different as my first grow. After I buy everything I'll see if a tent is in the budget, if not, i'll use alternate-technology :D.

Excellent choice on lights and strain bro....you know DP strains love the GN spectrum.

Darn, I got pretty excited about that deal, figured I'd kill two birds with it until I noticed the US shipping. :/ None the less, what a sweet deal for someone looking to invest in LED.

And yeah Tang, I've seen a lot of DP strains under the grownorthern sections flourishing. I also read that the think different is fairly good for beginners. The yields I've been seeing are fantastic, too. After this grow I plan to upgrade to the ms006, perhaps grow two plants under them both. Really depends on the outcome of my first grow I guess lol.

The only thing I'm worried about at this point is screwing up the PH. I want a really good meter, i'll probably have to make due with my grow room at the moment and just sacrifice a store bought tent, or perhaps look up some tent tutorials for cheap.

If you have decent tap water bro have a think about Advanced nutrients PH perfect range, takes a lot of the ball ache out of growing.

I'm not really sure what'd it'd be. I don't really have a whole lot of faith in my counties tap water though, haha. What exactly is that product, though?

"However, these scientists discovered how to completely eliminate pH checking forever with their proprietary "pH Perfect®" technology. In short, as long as your water falls between 4.5 and 8.5 pH (which is pretty much everyone's water)-this technology adjusts your pH for you and keeps it buffered there throughout your plants' bloom cycle."

Wow, really? It seems too good to be true lol. Hell, if i'll be using advanced nutrients for the ph range, what would you suggest in terms of nutes? I had originally decided to use fox farms or bio but I've also heard a bit about advanced being really good. Any grow journals?
