Extraction Qwiso

:2cents: i like to wait untill its well and truely dry before i scrape up.new blades and maybe a model knife set for any awkward corners/edges.
:pighug:

:2cents: i feel that purging iso is different from the purging of bho and others.
iso will purge all by itself given enough time.can apply heat/agitation/breeze to speed things up.
:pighug:

What kind of ISO are you using, archie? I use 91% when I did my ISO runs but I actually noticed it leaves a very faint film on things when it dries. Was curious what that residue is myself. I mean it's never stopped me from smoking it lol, but definitely curious to know if it's something potentially harmful (in the long run.)

faint film ? salts/impurities from the 9% water ?

edit...you in a dusty enviroment ?

That's a possibility too; I'll see if I can get a picture of what it looks like. Maybe that 9% difference is it lol! I started using Everclear for my oil runs now, started making cannabis e-juice for vapes and it's been pretty stellar! Enjoyed seeing your stuff bro, keep up the good work!

It's not that dusty but it's possible it could be it. I considered possible chill haze too; it's always in the freezer when I use it. Maybe I just have dirty glass

an update on the what i called moondust, that was removed between the 75 micron screen and before the coffee filter(25 equivalent micron rating).ive just had 3 bong rips from a sober state,i kept forgetting and no point testing when stoned allready.
conclusions.nice smells flavours its very smooth.leaves a residue on a screen so plant matter is present.buzz about close to zero sad to say.but thats not to say that all moondust has next to no thc.depends how,if its filtered before the coffee filters.
in theory iso disolves thc.upto the saturation point anything above 5 microns is not thc.theory is a lot different than practice, and theres no black or white in canna its a grey area.thats not to say that moondust is garbage,i think it could have its uses in balms and the likes.or sprinkle some on a j for a bit extra flavour.
*im a bit of a glipe, and my conclusions are from 1 small run of poor quality trim*could be 3,4 months till i do another run.please tell me tastes and effects of your moondust.
