Is it possible to recover from an over watered plant?
If so, would the answer be just to wait for it to dry out

Or is it best to start again?

It will be fine! Cannabis is resilient! Just let it dry out to where you normally would water... Unless you are ALSO overfeeding, then you need to do a full flush and begin watering like normal (top 2"-4" of soil should be dry before watering). If they are old enough (3 weeks+) It is also a good idea to let the soil dry completely once every other week as it is healthy for the roots EDIT: Unless you're in Coco, I have heard the pH swing when it completely dries is a bit much for the plant but perhaps a more experienced coco grower can comment.

Just leave it dry out. When the roots get more oxygen they should start to grow and the plant will come back. This will take a while so just be patienced.

Thanks YoungBudz
Only been watering no nutrients. It does seem like overwatering from what I researched Some brown spots and yellowing.

This is the first time this has happened

Before I started, I put the soil in with perlite and poured boiling water on them to kill eveything

Could you post some photos so we could help you out a bit better? You're asking a broad question, don't want to give bad advice..

Ah okay well maybe some info about your setup? I only gave a general statement about over watering and watering in general, but that may not be it, it could be one in a thousand things (gross exaggeration) but, without knowing all the details about your setup, it will be hard to actually diagnose the problem as many similar problems arise out of different explanatory variables.

Start by filling this out and posting here. Also pics help.

Correct me if I am wrong but it doesn't sound to me like you've singled out everything else, like pH problems, overfeeding, deficiencies etc.

Oh yeah over watering most likely just let it dry out completely (should feel light) and then water as regular (when the top 2"-4" of soil is dry).
