I have just found my ultimate vaporizer, The DaVinci Ascent! Is it perfect? No, but its the over all balance of features and performance. First, its all glass airpath. I'm not one who buys into the whole idea that the vapor tastes better thru glass, that's just not realistic considering the materials used in most vapes are medical grade. BUT, what the glass does for certain, is to help cool the vapor! I've tested at 420F. HUGE cloud of vapor that didn't burn your throat! vapor felt only slightly warmer than it was at 365F. No other vaporizer this size that I've tested has such nice vapor!

Battery life is amazing! I just finished my third session with it and the battery charge hasn't even dropped yet! I'm thinking 2+ solid hours of use time is likely. Even my Mighty can't match that.

And its both simple to use, yet a geeks dream! You can customize vape sessions. You program it for a temp and time, then program the next higher temp you'd like and for how long, and a third step also if wanted!

It has a motion sensor that keeps the vaporizer active as long as it moves within a time you can set. i believe 4 minutes is default. What a great feature, if your sharing, it won't shutoff on your every 3 minutes like the Mighty does... But if you kinda space out after a few hits......... it will turn itself off!

I'm posting the only worthwhile tutorial video I've found. It is the only one with a way to use the screens that come with it! And it was a DUH moment when I saw how it was done... watch the video! It will show you all the features and how to use them!

Last thing, the vapor. The vapor has excellent taste, and the clouds are very good. I noticed that I wasn't getting that popcorn taste as the weed was vaped, just the vapor amount slowly getting smaller. I vaped some to a very dark brown before I noticed that popcorn taste. THIS is why I love this vape, good to the last hit!

Huge Bowl ... as a reference the bowl on the Vapir NO2 and the Arizer Solo both hold 1/8 TSP ... :pass:

Thanks for the review bud.:smoking:

Thanks for the information @pop22
I also have the mighty and for the money i paid for it i think its a good vape but not great. Kinda loose the great flavour after and few session and even after cleaning it its still no that great.
Non the less a good portable vape but this one sounds much better. Il have to have a look at getting one as im not interested in big home vapes, i like to have something small that can be hidden easily if needed.

Thanks for the review bud.:smoking:

The mighty has been collecting dust for a while now..lol! Gave my Pinnacle to a friend and sold the Pax2 ( a total piece of crap ). My lady coughs on heavy vapor so she has claimed the Mighty.

IMO, the Mighty, although a very nice vape, is a $199 vape pretending to be a $399 vape........... The Ascent is a $199 vape that looks, feels and acts like a $399 vape! The quality of the Davinci Ascent is clearly superior. And contrary to what some say, I suspect the Ascent's ability to vape oils/waxes will be good. I tested the oil tank last night with some dry ice hash and it worked very well, no complaint at all. Sure, its not and e-nail or a bong hit, but its not suppose to be! I have no doubt a dedicated wax pen would be superior if you need big, lung busting hits, but very few pens will do that anyway. It does work well enough to stone you stupid just the same.......LOL!

Actually, thats how I got to try a few! Firefly ( a fancy, over priced MFLB that isn't even as good as a MFLB ), an MFLB ( nice hits sometimes, too crude for me ), a Flowermate V 5.0s ( very nice, vapor's a bit hot ), and the Mighty, which I actually bought from a friend there. If you find the flowermate for under $100, then its a good buy. its a cheap vape that hits hard and works well, but the quality is so so. I have a friend with a Goboof alpha ( who thinks of these names???? ) I'd like to try. seems like a nice vape.

what I've wanted is an inexpensive, pen/cigar type pocket vape that would be easy to toss away if need be... I bought an XVape X Max V2, but it arrived dead, waiting for a replacement.

Yeah, I'm a vape junky.......lol!
:baked:
I know that's what I look for in a Vape ... It would be great to have Vape parties where everybody could bring their favorite and people got to try new Vapes ... :woohoo1:

Im looking in to getting one now Pop22.
This thread should be moved to the vape review section.
Im going to ask get it moved there as long as you dont mind.
