Live Stoner Chat Roadtrip in memory of Dad

You might find some good deals on craigslist.
Cash is king in the states.
If you do go this route just be sure to meet in a public place (bank, coffee shop, growshop)

Use the online instant assistance on their website (when Sara is online) and tell them your
scenario and see if they have a suggestion.

OK so I've been trawling the Internet for led'a
I have a question the marsII 400 which gives a 3x3 footprint or shall I go for 4 of the 180w round ones.
I have a 1.2mx1.2m tent

Good morning Peteey,
Hope L.A. is treating you well.

The only grow I've seen on AFN regarding Plasma is Mr Ganjamoto's grows in the Dutch Passion section.
No personal experience with them so I can't say anything for or against.

On the Mars units I can add my .02..
I have a 900w unit in a 4x4(1.2m x 1.2m).
It's working wonderfully. Although it is rated for a 4x4 area it has the plants on the perimeter reaching inward.
So, my plan is to add another 900w to the 4x4 to even out the light distribution.
My suggestion would be to go for multiple smaller units for better coverage.
2 400w's may be perfect for a 4x4 area.
Hope my ramblings may help.

Enjoy Cali Peteey:Sharing One:

Thanks Ronin I was leaning towards multiple units to give more effective light coverage. If I get 4 ufo led's then effectively each plant would have its own light.

Yes I always love it when I come here makes me wish I took the opportunity a few years ago to move out here.but now sadly what would I do for work at my age.
I have a huge shopping list but sadly most of it is too large to fit in a suitcase and I think pushing a 4 pot auto system through lax might raise some questons

I am a firm believer the more the merrier to a point and spreading the spectrum out evenly is the way to go. I seen a great video on youtube of a commercial grow using rather big UFOS but were evenly spread apart with the spectrum never changing between the lights so spacing is very important to not lose any spectrum between lights. They used a light meter and it was just as bright in between the lights as just right under the light.

Next question....as my ph meter at home is on its last legs is it better to have a combined meter for ph/ec or a separate meter for each. Also any recomendations
