I have over a year growing now and just finishing up a 4th grow in my basement, which is huge, and moving into a 2nd story room that's much smaller. easier to manage heat, humidity, etc. I will be stripping wallpaper prepping with trisodium phosphate and painting white. will the TSP along with paint be well enough to sterilize? or should I clean with bleach and water after paint just the same. thanks in advance.

Hello hippy!
After researching what Trisodium Phosphate is (lol), it seems like that should be enough for sterilization. However, just in case on the safe side, as long as it does not do any harm to the paint or anything that will be inside the room, maybe extra cleaning with bleach and water wouldn't hurt.
If you feel uneasy and worried, then why not take an extra step to make sure everything will come out smoothly?
I know this shouldn't need to be said, nor have it be taken lightly. Always keep safety in the front and back of your mind. Keep it well ventilated as well as a thorough cleaning from all toxins.

ya that's what I think is going to be done. been having a white fly issue last 2 grows and just cant seem to get rid of the little buggers, so a smaller room with everythong sterilized as well as myself and clothing is in order.
Hippy I feel your pain! I'm in the same boat gearing up to redo my grow room so am winding down the grows for now...
i got some clones in coco that haven't shown signs of trouble so, I will keep those in a seperatw room until new room is done at which time they will get sprayed down with forbid... Such a daunting task indeed!
need to get a large tote to store bag of coco in to prevent future trouble ...

I could put up a wall but its a hugh 3 bedroom home and just me here so I decided to just move to the smallest room.the ac needed to cool the little room is like 60 bucks verses the portable ac for the basement which is like 600 bucks. and I would like to redo the basement into a man cave with a MONSTER flat screen and many recliners to watch my nascar races. LOLOL....

I been doing a perpetual grow and ending that and just installing a light mover doing 1 larger grow at a time, shutting down and sterilizing. Im talking showers, fresh cloths, paper suits, etc.
