Indoor Royal Caramel Fem (hydro)

@Itisi @Vlad The Inhaler

Have you guys played with perpetuals? Do you know how thwy work? Are they just kept in veg and we take cuttings, but they never bloom?
You have the space to do it properly.

You need 3 grow areas. 1 for the mother, one for cuttings and one for flowering.

If you have an 8 week flowering strain for instance, take 2 cuttings off the mother every 4 weeks, they go in veg tent for 4 weeks then in the flower tent for 8 weeks.

So you always have, 1 mother, 2 vegging and 4 flowering. You harvest 2 plants very 4 weeks.

The mother will get a bit woody and bushy and outgrow her space in about 2 years.

The other method is, take a cutting off a plant before you flower it in a constant cycle, requiring only 2 spaces. But one failed cutting and it grinds to a halt.

I had a skunk no1 that I kept as a house plant and flowered off cuttings.

She lasted a year before outgrowing the living room, she filled the patio doors.

Thanks, itisyou, Master of Buds!

One more question, how about making a clone into a mother?

You can, you may need a bigger pot/root system. Cuttings don't have tapping roots.

Strains like gsc in the states and cheese in the UK, only exsisted as cuttings for years before the breeders got hold of them.

TBH. With the availability of fem seeds and the amount of flavours available why bother?

This is great, I'm going to try it!

Queenie will go to 12/12 tomorrow. The training is going well, I think she'll have a lot of very nice collas.

And Clona, Queenie's clone, will become my mother plant!
