Was just talking about 'Schwazzing' with @420autoflower. Cool share mate!!
Yo @Son of Hobbes ! Do you do any of this at the farm or at home? Pretty radical concept but clearly seems to work for some
Any commercial grow is gonna do some sort of leaf stripping. They take all the lowers and leaves at the same time.

I'm just asking. Hobbes is an OG so I'll listen to whatever he's got to say, especially as it pertains to autos. More interested in personal opinion then the commercial production side of things  :pass:

Didn’t realize Hobbes is the only person we should listen to here. I was just offering advice based on what I’ve done personally and what I’ve seen commercial grows do. Commercial grows are typically after yield so I would lean towards following their guidelines. But hey, this thread seems to have stirred up some discontent so might as well keep it going yea….

That's not what I was trying to say I guess. Nothing like that at all :pass: Just interested in the opinion since he's got experience on both sides of the fence. All good bud, I'm not trying to stir anything up or to challenge any way anybody does their thing, just looking to learn. Hobbes created this site and he's been doin it for a minute, and I'd like to hear his opinions on things whenever he pops up in a thread and offers it. I have no intention of arguing about anything but I'm interested in learning stuff

We’re on the same page then. My apologies. But I will say, there is a ton of info with a little bit of proof in this thread to support what we do. Most of the big growers I know defol once maybe 7 days before flower and again about 21 days in. I like to do another later but I don’t think it’s necessary. I would like to hear what @Son of Hobbes has to say on the subject. Again, I apologize for my previous comment.

I think you guys all know my position on defo. You have to take into consideration how lazy I am. I am not willing to spend that kind of time for the gains that may be available. Since I have not done it I don't know for sure but it looks like the leaf to calyx ratio is a bit higher in the schwazzed plants? I do love peeps that are willing to do new stuff so keep on keeping on!
