i think what you were asking if you can cross an auto with an auto thats fine
dont worry about the rest unless your selecting specific qualitys just cross your best male and best female or best femalex best female for fems

wow so old and un-true... just because you don't see the auto trait in the F1 cross to a non auto doesn't mean the LR gene is not dom...

I can assure everyone that if you cross anything to the LR strain... by F4 or F5 you will have an auto... EVEN IF YOU breed all the NON auto phenos...All the way to F4... you dont have to inbreed auto phenos to end up with a 100% auto...

RCMC asked me if I could wait to update his site to include the mossy strain which should hit his mailbox any day now.

did not mean to stir up any controversy -- just sharing what i found and thought it would be useful. (it helped me understand a little)
i know there more out there to breeding that just autoXauto -- intending to make my own seeds for personal use but that wont be for YEARS to come.

i personally do not have any experience on breeding so i thought i should start collecting knowledge as much as possible before i begin.
through process of CS/STS reverse pollination whatnot -- one day everyhting will make sense. just need to read up with some trial and errors no doubt.

the more i study/read up on a subject -- the more ill understand about them. until then its read collect knowledge then read and collect some more.

from what i understand -- the easiest way to get some auto seeds is:

auto fem X auto fem (same strain/beans) = 100% autoflowering feminized seeds correct?
as long as its auto fem X auto fem (regardless of strains) should still = 100% autoflowering fem?

ofcourse if you want a certain pheno etc then you would have to breed those and BX?

cres may have a SLIGHT edge to his words on occasion, but he does quite a bit to help new growers/breeders, and shares A LOT with the community in general...aside from breeding kick-ass strains without a huge profit motive. I'm sure he meant no offense, and was/is only trying to steer EVERYONE in the right direction. :thumbs:

Nobody's trying to make anybody feel dumb...except maybe people that are acting dumb...and even those are pretty well tolerated...just perhaps ignored.

Now second thing...UNLIKE a lot of breeders I want you to buy my seed and after you do you own it... YES you own the seed you paid for it, you own it and the right to do what ever you wish with it I support any and everyone who does. Genetic hoards have no home in da HighRise...:thumbs:

Now... breeding we can talk that here briefly no problem...

With the exceptions of anomalies auto x auto = auto not restricted to strain to strain or inbreed strain. Auto mossy x auto highRise= Auto Herbal:check:

Most autos are LR based... which means the auto gene cannot be stopped. In the autos I'm selling now the % of LR is 6.25... and its still dom. This also means you can buy any strain that has LR heritage and cross it to a non auto....and by F4 or 5 be looking at an auto... even if you select non auto phenos... IMO dominate doesn't necessarily mean that right off in the F1 you will see the dominance... Its there no doubt... of its dominance because as soon as you hit F2 it shows up and by F3 you can be well over 50% or there abouts... regardless of whatever phenos you use for breeding...
