Self watering Tray2Grow experiment 👀

Time fer #2 Cannatrol. :eyebrows: :cools:

That is pretty expensive, but it's just so damn easy!
It does help to have different strains harvesting at different times.
I enjoy the Cannatrol but not appealing enough to own 2. I’ve always been happy with the paper bags, I get the same results and for Cannatrol money I can buy a LOT of grow supplies 🤣 Midnight Mass about to be trimmed and bagged.

Trying to decide between 4 plants with 2 trays or 3 plants with a tray and a pot. I know I’ll be dropping Night Owl’s Chemmy Powers and 91 Grapes then it’s coin flip time lol

we just smoked some Creme Tasmo the self topper and it’s really stony. Going to wait til winter to grow another one because the cooler temps really bring out the purple. They’re on clearance price at Mephisto I highly suggest a 3pack (I bought 20). Anyhoo see you tomorrow with the weigh in of last two plants ✌🏻

@WildBill I think you were talking about using the bed for soil on the tray so I wanted to show you a pic of the cover that’s available, should help with gnats

I was wondering if someone was gonna do that like they did with the Earth boxes.
So you could basically just set up a Earthbox top environment and all the 'goodness' that goes on in the top dressing nute mound.
I think that would be an interesting experiment doing a side by side with one cover in the other a natural living mulch layer cover crop.

Indoors, I think the black cover would work well. And I think it would Elevate the growing media in temperature, but not enough to cause any problems. He could have a beneficial effect of raising the temperature for more microbial activity.

I would run something like that outside but would have to be a different color.

Thank you @Entombed I’m stoked! Just weighed the final plant, night owl midnight Mass that my dog tried to eat. Stunted big time but still produced 178.5 g for 6.3oz. I’ll take it! Funny thing is that’s about how much my biggest plant weighed over the last few years until I changed my routine. She dried in the paper bags, for some reason I don’t have a pre chop pic of her.

Without doubt the best grow journal I’ve ever had the pleasure of following (and I have followed quite a few 👀 ).
Outstanding growing, great yields.eyes:what?:

Question @PeaceLove&Buds ... if you had to choose between different autopot systems, which would be your go-to?

Easy2Grow Pot and tray or Tray2Grow? Reason I ask is that with the Easy2Grow the Aquavalve will water once the substrate is dry whereas Tray2Grow has nutes available 24/7.

Pots – plastic or fabric? – you prefer fabric – does size really matter?

Really good to see that higher EC at the start worked for you as well as the 24/0 light schedule

Looking forward to more.
All the best from South Africa.
