Hi all,

Finished up my Barney’s Farm LSD and while waiting for it to dry I was looking at my SS Super Skunk momma and notice that while cutting clones off of her this spring I created a very nice base with many tops and thought to myself, “that would make a great SCROG.”

So back on Wednesday of last week I went to work on her. She was in a 4 liter pot and was uppotted to a 15 liter autopot with a homemade soil. Then I spread her out wide as I could, watered her in with some Recharge and MammothP, and let her dry out for a couple days.

If you zoom in close on those pics you can see the vinyl coated wires that she was tied down with. I never supercrop unless absolutely necessary or the opps moment when I actually break a branch.

Normal lighting update. I have noticed that she has increased her water uptake over the last couple days to 1.5 inches a day from 1 inch a day. Based on some observations of the reservoir that equals about 3 quarts a day. On some of the bud shots you can see the nutrient burn on the tips. That has not increased since I added the pure water to cut the EC down to 2.15 / 1075 ppm. Next fill up I will decrease the MC to 4gpg and increase the BE by an equal percentage. Will keep doing that until I’m running half the base nutes and double the p/k additive.

6.5 is what I aim for. It drifts upward very slowly, like 0.1 a day. Since we are in bloom I let it do so until it is close to 6.8 and by then I usually have to add another 5 gallons and adjust it back down to 6.5. If not I still adjust it back down. Thanks for the rep.

I feel that the smoking is just a bonus for the time spent caring for the ladies... You take care of them and they will take care of you... My girl says that I care more about the plants than I care about her or myself... Hmmmmmmmm...
