Grow Mediums Sensi Seeds Super Skunk SCROG (Autopots, AutoCobs, & Mega Crop Oh, MY!)

Day 15 / 3

After spending some time under the screen cleaning out foliage I decided I had made the scroggers first mistake, I didn’t allow for enough room under the screen for “easy” maintenance and before she gets bigger, I better do something. So I got a stool which sits a little over 8 inches tall and cut the screen loose from the spring clamps holding it in place allowing me to move up and down freely. Then a little bit of yoga and gymnastics and I managed to get the autopot tray, pot, and plant on top of it without ripping her apart. I moved the AutoCobs up to the ceiling to maintain my 30 inches of separation. Her are the pics in her new setup.

We need time-lapse!

Hey I’ve given almost daily updates with pics of the canopy, so maybe when all is done I can stitch something together into a timelapse. I wasn’t sure how this grow was going to go so I didn’t setup the timelapse camera. Plus I’m trying to find a device that isn’t affected by the lights’ drivers causing banding on all the pictures. I want a timelapse of the mushrooms under there.

LOL I meant we need to be able to time-lapse forward, so we can get more grows done! She's looking great though, and well done on raising her up with no damage!

LOL  Totally misread you there. I happen to do timelapse photography and thought you might have seen the one I did on my last grow.

I enjoy slowing down with my plants, so timelapsing forward would not be an option for me. Sometimes, I just pull up a chair to the tent and chill. This grow I pull up a chair and look under that screen and wonder what I’m cutting off next. :smoking:

No I didn't see it - which thread of your sig was it?

Wow, that's fantastic! I'm amazed how clearly it shows them praying. Well done sir!:slap:
:thanks:That’s so nice of you to say. I’m still learning and need to find a mini cam that won’t be affected by the COBs’ drivers, but it is rather fun to play with. :joy:

Day 16 / 4

She seemed to take to moving upwards in the tent well. The lights are as high as they can be away from the screen at 30 inches, but she is growing above the screen quickly now. Will have to see just how well she will handle it. I did just fill the reservoir again with another 5 gallons of mix. This time I left it all the same but upped the MC by .25g per gallon. I’m not happy unless I see tip burn and I haven’t seen it yet. This Super Skunk seems to be loving all I can throw at her.

  • 4.25gpg MC
  • 2gpg CaMag
  • 0.35gpl SC
  • 0.25gpl BE.
pH was 5.0 after mixing pH up to 6.46
5 gallons of rainwater at 0.01EC after mixing EC 2.13 or 1065ppm.

FYI: I use rainwater whenever I can and it’s so clean that it’s EC is never higher than 0.01 and it’s not easy to get a stable pH reading on it but it’s close to neutral at 7.0. After adding all the nutrients it always stabilizes around 5.5, which would not be a bad starting place for hydro. When I set the pH back up to 6.50ish, it rarely drifts more than 0.05 in either direction. This MC has to be the most pH stable nutrient I have ever used.

Anyhow here she is today after the big upwards move.

I keep taking handfuls of leaves from underneath her, but everyday seems there are more. I know I need to start defoliating the top also but I’m still not sure of the timing. Any suggestions please yell them out.
