Recreational law states every citizen can grow 6 plants.

Medicinal patients (red card holders) have varied plant counts as prescribed by their doctor.
Most get 6 but some can be as many as 30.

Our state constitution has been amended to protect our rights as Colorado citizens.

i turn 21 very soon colorado seems like the perfect place for a guy like me

Edit: and can each adult in a house have 6 plants of their own? Like if I lived in a house just me and a girlfriend we could have 12 plants? 3 people can have 18?

I wish i could move to colorado, 6 plants is definately more than enough to me! I always thought it was funny about how they stipulate an amount of plants, then you see some of tangs plants, for example, and it kind of defeats the point haha!

Yes,
But some towns/cities have set limits.
City and county of Denver has a 12 plant limit per household.
Some other cities have adopted this as their standard.

Yes anyone over 21 can grow 6 plant with only 3 being in flower. So if 2 people over 21 in the house 12 plants 6 in flower.

it will differ place to place. Denver may have a total plant restriction, so if 4 people over 21 live in a house you may only be able to grow 12 plants.

The law is still a bit fuzzy. Parts need to be taken to court for clarification.
