Great grow going. I have a Blackstar 135 watt unit myself and love it.

Just curious...does anyone else think that your plants looks slightly over watered? The droopy leaves and slightly yellow lower fan leaves concern me.

Not knocking you dude, just wanted to point out an observation.

the 'quick ones' does look droopy... cause everytime i take their pictures .. they are on the sleepy time... once the lights come on an hour later.. they raise up .. i learn my lesson last grow about overwatering...
but the 'super critical auto's' are getting me worried, it's maybe the different soil or ph gone wrong ... they are not progressing as smoothly... they got that yellow glow that i dont like.. :firedevil: gonna check the ph tomorrow... and check if everythings fine..

At day 35, you can definitely start adding in some bloom nutes for your Short Ones.

What have your soil pH's been?

Short rider:
water: plain water at 6.3 (starting to flush)
runoff: 7.2
Ph summary: (6.3 + 7.2)/2= 6.75

Quick Ones:
water: 4.7 (water + bloom nuts + molasses)
runoff: 6.7
Ph summary: (4.7 + 6.7)/2= 5.7

Super Critical Auto:
water: 4.6 (water + Veg nuts)
runoff: 7.4
Ph summary: (4.6 + 7.4)/2= 6

week 11.5 from seeds... just started on flushing... got the 420 scope and the trichomes are milky white and frosty ... erfect: will give it another week before harvesting...

and for my Quick Ones:

just added molasses in the feeding mix... white pistils growing rapidly .. and top up more media.. they are in 1L pots.. and the roots are coming up... this is a first for me..

note to self: get a ph soil measurer...

Hey bro. Your girls are looking great. I always have problems with lower yellowing leaves, then middle, then all over. My problems are usually ph or cal/mag but in the end the pull through. I use molasses with every feed, 1 teaspoon/gal and 1 teaspoon of epsom salt dissolved with it for a cal/mag substitute. Seems to work pretty good for me. Muddy turned me on to it. My tent is 2x2x4 and the specs for the 135w is just that. I wanted the 185w but money would not allow. The 8 cfl = 184w then 135w led = 319w which is not bad. If you can get the 180 or 240 then do it. If not go with which ever fits your space/pocket then sub with cfl for extra light imo. Peace bro

I may be a bit off base here but my books and what i have read differ to your readings.

Usually the water+nutes should be right around 7.0
The run-off water should read about 6.5

Too me your numbers are a bit odd...

When i water my girls i use PH 7 water with the nutes and my run-off is right at 6.5.

Apart from that they look really good!!!

i have that same yellow problem too... by harvest time... i only lose the really bottom part and a bit on the middle.. so im not to fuzzy... , autos are moving so fast in progress ... love it!.. :booya:
i have moved up from the 600's to 1L pots now... getting there gradually...
mollases in every feed?.. so not only when they start flowering?.. , can i start on molasses when they are still on veg mode?..

i was going for the 240 LED... but a bit worried for the size... but if i'm progressing good... a 240 in the future will be sweettt...
i manage to order one more... 100w ufo... i am very happy with these lights and they are amazingly very silent.. and i tought i'll make a more uniform grow...i read in a book i got.. that more lights can help overlap the distribution of light.. instead of one big light..

i have pre ordered a tent which is a 80cmx140cmx200cm size, which i tought will be just right for 2 ufo shining over 8 small pots..

they are around 11inches from the top bud of the short rider... should i bring them closer?


since it's almost the end of her grow, shall i leave her with the whole gang ... with the same light schedule?.. or take her outside... which is less sunlight.. around 12/12

What i've read 8 to 12in away so 11in should be fine. Mine is around 12in. Also leave 20/4 or 18/6 the full grow unless it's a photo

Bloom nutes at the end of 5 weeks is when i start mine but i've had a couple that i gave veg nutes to end of 6 weeks

right now LED's are on 18/6 which is quite nice for the full grow.. and fans are on 24 hours.. :thumbs:

ahhaa.... mollases all the way?.. nice... i will try that on my next grow... got one northern light and one royal creamatic germinating...

tomorrow will be week 12 and manage to get them in one room together after all this time.. both are in the pc box.. in 600ml pots until seedling then moved on their separate ways...
gave them the same treatment and loving.. the outdoor one branched suddently.. the other when under 100w LED..

in comparison...
the LED progressed very smoothly... right on schedule... and created one fat bud. ...
as for the outdoor ... right on schedule, flowered on time...but tiny buds are produce... so tiny i'm looking at half a joint tiny... :smoke:

i guess the good thing with indoor that we have control against the elements..

will be chopping them both down at the end of the week.. both thricomes are milky white .. so i'm just waiting for the right moment ..

then i'll make a comparison on taste... considering it's LED against Sunlight..
