Hi guys,

I'm trying to build a test system based on airpots and coco with a sort of DWC rez underneath, making a recirc circuit. Would anyone take the time to please advise on the parts I need to make a 1 plant dripper system? I can't find any pre-made kits anywhere and I dont want to burn cash figuring out...:joint:

I only need the recirc part. I'm getting a Hailea 9820 + 8 way manifold for bubbling. I guess I need a water pump (submergible or not?), tubing, flow valve and a timer... am I missing something? Please advise!

EDIT: Ps: Oh, a theoretical hydro question... Would it be better to hand feed the coco and use the rez underneath to bubble O2 + lower EC water, or must the plant have the same nutes in the coco and in the rez (ergo, recirculation) ?

I have absolutely ridiculous results running a drain-to-waste setup in 2gallon dirt pots (http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=12485). I pour about 1L of nutrient solution over the top of the coco, which I cover with hydroton "mulch", and then discard whatever runs off. I watered daily (you can water hydro every day, it's actually better) and got 2 ounces of dried, cured, manicured bud out of Mossy's JEM after cutting the plant about 17 days early using a 2 part nutrient (http://lucasformula.com/) with 2 additives (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_sulfate & http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/supplements/floralicious/floralicious_plus/).

Yeah, but thats running to waste. I already have that going with regular pots. I'm using Canna Coco A&B btw. My question was not so much run-to-waste vs recirculation, but in having the airpot shooting roots into a rez. Would it be better to recirc the rez water and drip the coco, or run-to-bubbling-controlled-waste?

Hi
when you say 1 plant dripper system. do you meen the top ring on the bucket who feeds the plant. like those used in a waterfarm ??
Tjeck page 2 the video on my DIY TFR Hydro
Peace

Maybe look at Blumats...auto watering system that works great in coco. Don't see any advantage adding a bucket...coco is robust, not sure it would help any and it's a lot more complex

Its not so much I want... it a sort of "I have to!" Check my current sig (automazar coc vs bioizz) you'll understand why
Sweet thanks mate!! Looks exactly what I need !
Been looking at this... but I dont get how this works without a pump!

Hey man I run exactly what you are looking for. Here is my setup.

I built a table out of 2x4 with a screen that the pot sits on. Made the table to where I can slide my bucket in and out. No need to ever move the plant, just the bucket. Easy as that huh?

Ok Truu, You've peeked my interest in your build. Can you post some pictures of it or if you have where. I'd llke to see this sounds very cool
