I have no experience with your particular model of light, but with my 900w mars ii with 5w diodes (more like 450 watt actual) I started off at about 3 foot away then brought it in to 2 foot and now i am at 20 inches or so, the plants are just eating up the light. And that was full blast from the start.

Mines 240w but about 600w actually. I'll give em full blast then.
Any thoughts on what I should do with the stretcher? Try pulling carefully removing the hydroton around the rockwool, see what's going on with that tap root and put it lower in the netpot?

Not really sure im experienced enough to offer advice on that mate... if she looks healthy I would say just leave her to it though... I think messing with the hydroton would be a bad idea... if she's not healthy you could top feed a little for her...
Day 12
I spy a taproot coming out of the super skunk's netpot, I'm pumped! She looks like a thick one! The super skunk is out growing the 60dw in size but the 60dw looks more dark green. The SS has 2 more prominent sets of leaves popping out now. The 60DW has a long 3 inch taproot with fishbones coming out now and a 2nd root popping out of the net pot. This stuff is fascinating!

Super Skunk is 2x the size of the 60dw, not sure if I have her dialed in correctly yet or now and she may be stunted. Only difference is I have a rez chiller on this bucket with the rez temp set to 20c. Is that too low to slow growth?
EC has been steady all week at 0.8 so I'm going to keep the same rez going for another week and up the EC to 1.0 for both.
It seems like I'm going full strength with everything just to get up to 0.8. Is there a problem with my feeding?

The skunk is twice the size of the 60dw, only difference is that the 60dw is on a rez chiller. I'd have thought the chiller would give the roots and plant the best conditions to thrive.
The skunk plant with no chiller and temp fluctuations between 19 at night and 24 during the day is twice the size.
