hey mountain boy! congrads on the nom!:kusht:and on the spinning berry ballarina!"Dancing Psiren"i tried hitting you with the mauser, but i had already shipped it back to you:shrug: old dude talking about that small caliber 6.5mm,"Size Matters"he better up the caliber to a 9mm mauser.:smokebuds::hug:

Now now...
As Sniper evens knows, it's not the size; it's the accuracy of the shooter! (Just like in OTHER things!)
Just for shitz and giggles, I took it to the stand once. The one and only deer I ever shot with that thing wouldn't turn broadside, so he got a frontal at 30m. The exit took out the entire left ham, hip joint included. I think she'll do!! Actually that was a bit OVERdone.
Then again I WAS using Norma Silvertips...

Had to sell it to pay the bills before I could have her sporterized. 1911 issue, brand spankin' new, and never fired. Spent her life in a ammo bunker in Sweden.
Miss her more than my ex! :xlaugh:

he's right astro the 6.5 cal now days carry supersonic speeds longer than 300win mags which equal harder impact at extended range 6.5 is alot slippery in the air that just about any other cal

and astro Germans used 8mm mausers
