New Grower Soaking seeds in hot water for germing.

If you are looking for something to accelerate the process, seaweed or kelp extract is another great option. Loads of plant hormones, with countless scientifically documented benefits . A drop in the glass of water soaking the seeds does wonders. I love to foliage spray with the stuff, especially in early veg. Immediately noticeable benefits

small tupperware container and a small piece of paper towel little water set it on top of the furnace ductwork in the bsmnt 3 days and its sprouted place in dirt and let it grow its the easiest part of the whole thing . The trick is keeping it warm enough to pop but not cook .

room temp has always done me well and seed soup isnt a very satisfying meal taste wise so i stick to room temp no mat no nothing

peace

edit, remember these things germ in nature in the spring under some pretty cold climates far bellow room temp

I PH water a rockwool cube and place seed in. Stick in a cabinet above the fridge (warmer humid air) and have a 100% germ rate. Sometime the temp gets cooler than room temperature, but ive never had a germination fail. Its what goes on after germ that i tend to screw up (if there is a problem). Hardy little plants! I have experimented with Adding Botannicare Liquid Karma for germ, as their label gives a chart for germination. Didnt see any advanced growth or any improvement on germination. I just use the method i know works for me! Havent been let down yet.

I use Filtered or distilled water in a cup(half full or less), room temp, in a dark place 100% germ rate i even have popped seeds that been rolling around my top dresser drawer for 3 years, before i started ordering "Name Brand" seeds! Wanted to practice before i bought good genetics. those and Every Auto ive had has popped for me evertime"Bailers Booya"

I use the water glass on the seedling mat method. 100% so far. I use supercharger root tonic, I wonder if a small amount of that. But then why mess with success...

I put a small glass of water next to my laptop fan, give it a couple of hours to get to a nice temp, drop the seed in, then within minutes of it sinking naturally (not poking it a round the glass Lol), I plant it root facing up in the soil, around half an inch down. Then wait, always pops within 3 days. If it can't turn itself, it wasn't worth growing anyway! Lol

If soil is too cold, I wrap it up in tin foil, then you see a bump in the top of the foil when she pops.

Too many people mess around with aloe vera lemon flavoured scented, skin frienldly premium tissue, and all that bollocks! Yes you are playing nature by controlling the environment of your plant, but don't mess with the nature of the seed itself. Just does more harm than good!
