Yeah ill be using ro from the fill up station at walmart by me so it looks like i need to add some calmag every watering. Great info just gave. I cant imagine not having this site. You took years off the learning curve. I might just have to order off amazon the right coco coir. I see my favorite brand gh makes a pre shredded type with added perlite in the bag.

I want to give the drip system a shot someday. I take it theres a resevior and u just watch the ph ppms of it snd set the pump timmer?

My pleasure, Brother I was given the same "Eureka" advice when I was starting out on AFN. It's like Graduate school for canna-heads! lolol
I have a thread for making my drip setup-check my signature, at the bottom. Pretty easy-I had the makings of 3 tables JUST LYING AROUND! lolol I only have to tend the rez every 4-5 days, for a 5 gal rez/4 plant table. I just pull up a stool and talk to them, now lololol

Lol they like that. Im so worried about giving a new seedling thats just sprouted any nutrients even if its 2ml of calmag. They dont burn or lock out? Whats ur schedule nute water nute water something like that?

Here's my process..
I plant germed seed into 1 gallon root pouches, and hand water every other day for the first 2 weeks. I start with 1ml/gal of base nutes (AN Sensi, usually) B-52 and Voodoo Juice @ 8 ml/gal, increasing to 2ml/gal for week 2.
Weeks 3-4, they get 3 hand waterings a day. And, from 4 to 8 ml/gl of base nutes depending on growth and vitality.
At week 4, autos or photos, I put them in the drip table, 3 60 second feedings a day to start. And, they're at 8 ml/gal by then. I'll only increase the nute strength from here on out if they show they need it. The photo plants always do, but never more than 3/4 strength.
As they flower, I increase feedings per day. week 3 flower they're at 4 or 5 per day. By week 7-8, its 6-7 per day.
This has worked very effectively in my environment

O wow from how ppl talk about sproutlings they make it seem like any nutes at all until week two will kill them. Ive never heard of root pouches before mabey thats what keeps them from burning.

Coco has no nutrients in it, like a light mix soil/soilless would, so it needs to have light nutes from day 1, or you'll stunt the little blighters
The root pouches are just fabric bags, root pruner things.. Love them!

What are your thoughts on starting lighting? I have the 700 watt mats 2s but ive read only give them the blue spectrum until week two would one 55 watt 6500k cfl be ok then or can i just cut to the chase and turn on my full spectrum mars?

I keep a 300w LED at 2.5 feet, from pop, in my veg tent. If you use the 700, does it have the switches for veg/flower? If so, just use the veg. If not, I'd keep it a good 3 feet up from plants, for the first week or 2

No switches. That kinda bumed me out i saw they put them on their reflector series. O well.
