For the more heady and mind melting...

2001: a space odessy

Ex machina

Prometheus is good too

some of the movies I am happy to revisit when settled into my evening relaxification procedure...

Pineapple express (needs a half hour chopped out- some slick editing in the last hour would greatly improve)
tropic thunder.
up in smoke( Stacy Keach steals the show)
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas.
Idiocracy (a genius social commentary, hilarious to boot)
Napoleon Dynamite.
Talledega nights.
dazed and confused.
After hours.
Boogie nights.
Buffalo 66 (not a comedy, but a masterpiece in its own right)
Anchorman 1 and 2.
Yes man.
Mars attacks.
Hitch-hikers guide.
Ted. (haven't seen T2 yet)
One night at McCools.
bad santa.
get him to the Greek.
super bad.
forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Step brothers.
along came Polly.
surfs up.
galaxy quest.
Brazil.
the martian.
oblivion (love that Led Zep scene)
the list goes on.
also, theres a great music visualiser, called G-force, that trips me out when I have a music evening.

thanks to you all for some great suggestions; theres still lots to be discovered.

Some grate recomendations there will keep me nice and chilled when stoned I have just started to watch
Brickleberry
Rick and Rick and morty both good shows in my opinion both are better than family guy

Don't forget the classic....Weekend at Bernies

Hi epenguin, believe it or not mate, I've heard the title many times, and cant recall ever seeing it. recommendation noted, will check it out.
I cant believe I forgot one of the greatest movies

THE BIG LEBOWSKI.

also, anyone who kinda likes what Simon Pegg has been doing with his mate Nick,
should definitely go for the absolute classic British comedy box set of

SPACED

every good thing that Pegg and Frost have done since, started here first.
Jessica Stephenson also brilliant , mark heap too...its platinum British comedy.
classic direction by very talented Edgar Wright.

If you want some twisted, weird, definitely NOT one for the kiddies animation with your high, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" is one to check out.

For a twisted musical, "Repo! The Genetic Opera"

Maybe not as twisted, but good satirical horror: "Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil" (especially if you appreciate Alan Tudyk's acting).

One more, old school flick. I always thought it was an interesting art flick, with some good music: "True Stories"

Hard movie to explain other than to just say it's a musical comedy art film by David Byrn of the Talking Heads fame, and you get to see John Goodman sing a country western tune.

hi Sarge,
I am familiar with family guy and its good, so if Brickleberry, R & R & Morty are better, must check em out.
by the way, many thanks for bridging the gap between me and A4 on the Nose burn and other HID niggles.
looks like a new ballast with auto re-strike is in order.
