Hey @slowandeasy can i ask why the higher ph?. I was always told to treat coco like hydro and ph 5.7-6..but i can see the higher ph during flower to keep pk uptake good

Hey In Hydro a little lower pH is good, I aim for 5.9. In Coco I aim for 6.1-6.2, that allows for fluctuations in either direction. I won't do 6.4 or above ever or below 5.8 ever in Coco.

Hey Roasty, this is my first time doing MC...but in my set up I have to run things stronger faster. What size pots you using? I would do a minimum of 2g per gal. I have 3 Sour Cracks seedlings that look perfect so far, they are already on 4g per gal. I used 3g per gal and 1g Calmag pro water as a precharge and feed until the jug ran out. I use RO WATER, so Calmag is used heavy for me. I upped my Calmag pro to 2g per gal yesterday and I finally am satisfied with the color and look of growth. Airdomes speed up growth and they drink more, so they show changes Quickly, like Hydro.

Day 13 from seed. I upped the Calmag pro yesterday to 2g per gal, and fed her good. I can totally notice a difference, and I am confident that I am on the right track with MC. For me, with RO Water, small pots, Airdomes, Coco, and Cobs...I will need to add Calmag pro at 2g per gal as a base.

Thank you so much!! I am planning a 2G coco plant (MC), and a 4G soil/coco/SS amendment. Using autopots, but I probably won't use a res, just hand water as needed. I'll do 3g MC and 1g cmp to get things started. Happy to follow your lead, much appreciated!

I don't think 2g is enough as a feed past initial seedling stage. I am measuing EC and weighing each powder to take the guess work out of things. The one thing that concerns me is the various pH readings I get. I am being strict about checking it, but really hope that with some experience and a reservoir pH adjusting will be minimal.

I was referring to pot size, 2 gallons of coco for the MC plant I am planning. Was going to precharge as you recommended, 3g MC and 1g CMP, since your SC's are doing so well with that.

My bad! I read that wrong. I have a good feeling that the 4 grams per gal and 2g per gal cmp is the right feed for Veg in my situation. Good luck brother, I will share everything positive or negative. This grow is for learning.

Nice, 4+2 for veg, do you just give them that after initial precharge? Or wait a week or 2 to up it? Thank you for sharing bro, helping tremendously.
