New Grower South Syder's First Grow In Seventeen Years (LEDs and Autos no less!)

Okay, This little gal is at fourteen days in these pics. Think I've been too cautious with the light nutes -- this thing seems kinda slow compared to some AN grows. Gonna step up the nutes an add some organics tonight. See how it goes by week three...

Soaked some Jack Autos. That foil tray and plastic take away container top setup is the mini incubator I use. Works well. Need some more gals in there! Lat one is of the 'stealth' tent.

Cheers y'all!

Howdy folks,

Been away for a few weeks. Sorry no updates. Left a friend in charge, result: dried out seeds, all dead. At least he didn't kill the little auto! Told him to pump the nutes up. Said he took it up to 0.70 EC. Little Amnesia looks okay, except for a little nute burn on the leaf tips. These autos sure are sensitive huh? Took some pics at 22 days from sprout. Looks kinda small to me though. I'll post after work tomorrow, see what you folks think....

Cheers.

Hey!
Sorry bout your sprouts...
She looks good to me at 14 days, mine looks smaller at 20! But then again I do have my issues. AFN is a great place for sure.
It's fun to get back into into it, have not imbibed for 10+ years and have not grown for 30 something years!!!
I am loving every minute of it.

Yeah these kids here have a way of inspiring a guy -- never figured I'd wet a seed again. Bit of advice though, if you give your buddy the key, don't leave him a stash! Sheesh!

Nnooooo

glad to have you in the fam and enjoying the site. i love this place!!:peace:

your set up looks cool

sorry to hear about the mishap with the beans dieing...i gotta say that to me is the worst thing to have to do is leave my ladies under someone elses care. no matter who it is they will never look after them the way we would:no:

i look forward to the pics of the auto who survived and the rest of the journal going forward.

best of luck:karma Cloud::vibe::gthumb:

Howdy folks,

Okay, update time, finally. As you can see the little Amnesia has some tip burn; surprising as she was only given a max dose of 0.70 EC at a steady pH of 5.8. Made mistake though, checking the calendar, she's actually at 23 days in the picture. Small sucker.

Ignore the vegetation behind her, those are photo cuttings I'm minding for my buddy. Anyhow, planted a Think Different last night using my typical method. Keen to give those a go, considering the monster grows I've tracked on this brilliant site! Post again soon...

Cheers y'all.

Looking good there buddy. I think for soil a ph of 6.3-6.5 might help with more growth and they don't seem to show nute burn so easy.

No argument there man, but it ain't soil. Using coco and perlite so pH is pretty standard. Silly little thing is flowering aggressively now -- and only thirty-something days in. These thing really book after bud-set! Giving her flowering nutes and let her go, see what happens, but, hey, not expecting anything other than a few grams outta this thing.

My Think Different is up!! Really looking forward to this one. But I got a problem....

Last couple of times I ordered beans they either didn't get here or turned up with customs tape all over them. The t-shirt is in there but no beans and the obligatory customs note. Getting some funny looks at the post office now, I can tell ya. Not game to go through it all again--it gets damned expensive with nothing but paranoia to show for it. Only order got through was my first, and that was a little one to see if I could get them in. Might just be my neck o' the woods, dunno if any of you folks have this problem.

Anyhow, since my buddy killed my other beans I now have no more autos but the Think Different and this little queer thing I'm nursing now. Think I'm gonna use some of my bro's Serious Seeds Chronic pollen and cross these autos to a photo. Hope to turn a branch on the Think Different and self a few buds. Looks like if I want autos I'm gonna have to breed some, damn it! If I have any luck I'll call them Think Chronic and Chronic Amnesia, LoL! Okay, been lazy with the pics. Will post some soon.

Cheers y'all.
