Got the same problem with my side light - no vertical adjustment. After this grow, I need to take it down a install some vertical multi-position mounting rails so I adjust it. So much for no DIY lo

Yeah dont think fixed side lighting is the best of ideas, but hey we live and learn and keeps things interesting to keep tweaking stuff as we go along. I gone alot more low budget as is most of my box lol drill holes through the top to feed the cable (three each side) and clips if needed to clamp on the cable above the hole to stop it sliding through.

These are the bulbs in got, cheapish (€25) option to a good size cfl but should run alot cooler and can just connect into a standard size connector. Seen some bigger ones that go upto 10,000+ lumens but they are the same price as a cheap led panel but would be great to screw into a existing reflector.

Cool lights. Could be a good option for supplemental side lighting for me. I see they are 30w. Is that actual wattage? Also see that they are cool white but can't remember where that falls in the spectrum band.

Spanglish, I've also been looking at E27 Led's as side/corner lights, and came across those streetlight types below, and was just wondering why you went for a 360 degree bulb.

The only reason i went with the 360 degree was really as they are just going to be hanging from cables it would not matter what way i screwed it in i would not have to try position the light facing the right way, so lol guess just laziness really.

Small Pot Day 12

Got her first grow feed today 1ml/L grow + algamic in a 500ml mix. She looking to be taller and less bushy than her big sister but she has been stretching more for the light, enjoying the extra time with all the light now that her big sister is spending the days in the sun.

Big Pot Day 21

She is a little beast of a bush, have not tied her down anymore but have been tucking and folding leaves like crazy and positioning the cfl sidelights to try and get as much as the lower growth to grow out before it gets lost in the foilage, have got three tops now growing for the light standing at 15cm, just got two or three side branches to train out a bit and will leave her to do her thing. Dont mind the burnt leaf tip and patch in the photos, i had her grow into the cfl twice. Getting as much time in the sun as possible now and seems to take the change well.

Feed today was 1ml/L grow + algamic + calmg 1L mix, will be going full strength on feeds from now on.

CW Day 21

Well she is still alive and showed sex on day 19, gonna be a tiny little thing but should make it. Had two rainy cloudy days so she had next to no light and fed by rainwater + plus a 200ml of big sisters feed.

Thanks mate, they growing alright am really impressed with the speed of these Mephisto beans. I use Duck Commanders schedule (link below) to base the feeds on and then tweak it if and when needed.

Good stuff. Just germed some new ones but mephisto is def next up for me.
