Ahhh a girl after my own heart, if and when I grow in mud I make my own most times and I LOVE not having to feed them at all, I am really into organic botany(its what my formal education is in) and I love creating a tiny microbial environment in my soil and making the dirt is half the fun.

I know I love it! I've always loved growing things. I'm a bit of a seed hoarder too lol. I always stop people from tossing their seeds, like from veggies and fruits. Everyone around me knows not to throw them away now haha! Growing canna is a little different. There's so much more involvement, and I love it. I realized extremely quick that I did not like mixing nutes, so I've been trying to make it to where I don't have to at least not until the end, and that is what I'm aiming for. I'm also using kind soil on some, but I have gotten the same results with my own mix thus far.

I may just have to dig into the ole archives and find the soil mix I ended up getting pretty spot on for growing canna, NOW this was while I was growing photoperiod plants so I don't really know if it would work for autos as the nutrient requirements are way different. But dialing it in is the fun part, also I love growin anything from berries to flowers to trees and especially canna.
