As expected, the 2nd gallon got used today. I’m guessing it’s best to use it ASAP after mixing, because it didn’t smell good, phew! I’ll use straight water until later in the week.
Mephisto Genetics Started an all-Mephisto grow today

I made a gallon jug that had 1 ml each of Elite Nutrients A, B & C and 2 ml of Mammoth P. I divided that into 3 gallon jugs. I added a teaspoon of Recharge to each gallon jug and filled them up. Each bucket got 1/2 gallon of this mixture, then I sprayed them with OF Overgrow.
It’s odd how the plants on the left are much bigger than those on the right. The soil mixture is exactly the same, as is the watering and feeding schedule. Hoping that they catch up!

Day 30. HBSS has perked up a lot, SODK is slowly catching up. Creme Bubbly is starting to show signs of flowering.

Today starts Week 6 (day 36) since they were planted. Everything is chugging along, but both SODK plants remain small. We’re going to buy some cinder blocks today in order to raise the plants up a bit closer to the lights. I fed them on Friday, slightly upping the nutes. AvT might be showing slight signs of nute burn, I’m not sure tho. AvT and Creme Bubbly on the left, HBSS and SODK on the right.
I noticed a couple spots on some of the fan leaves, so I mixed up some MagiCal and gave the plants a good watering. No nutes today. I think this is going to be our last grow using Elite nutes, we are just not happy with the results. I’ll post new pics on Monday. SODK is not looking good. The first one is maybe 8” tall and flowering. The second one that got planted 10 days later is a little bigger than the other one, but it only has 3-leaf petioles. No 5-leaf at all. HBSS has some red/purple stems. AvT and Creme Bubbly look fine tho.
We’re looking into replacing our ViparSpectra lights too. Claire wants Spectrum Kings, she’s tired of using cheap lights. We thought that these lights would be a big upgrade from our old Mars Hydro lights, but right now that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Plants look green and healthy, but at day 36, they do look smallish. SODK is supposed to be a large plant, so I would imagine that the growth at day 36 (5+ weeks) should be much bigger then 8". Have you looked at @BigSm0 (cobshop.net) autocobs? Good value, and most who have bought them (if not all!), have only praise for them (including me, I bought a 4 pack.). I am using two for a Double Grape @day25 right now. Had to turn one of them off until flowering starts, I think it may be too much light. Good luck on whatever you decide.
I think we had the plants too far from the lights. I’ve propped them up on cinder blocks and they are looking much better. I’m going to take some pics shortly. Those autocobs look nice, but it says that one is the equivalent of a 150 watt HPS. I’d have to get six to get close to a 1,000 watt HPS, that’s the same price as an SK402 or an HLG600.
