Hello I'm in full flower but still getting calcium deficiency after bumping my calmag up to 1.5ml per liter. They're drinking 2 liters a day. I would bump it up to 2mL per liter but my calmag has a lot of nitrogen in. Seems like the brown spots are still appearing and not coming to a stop.. Don't know what to do now.. Not sure whether to carry on with the calmag and just wait until they're done. Day 49 atm

@Think , could you post up a pic or three?
How much N are you feeding, and how much is in your calmag? We might be able to tweak things to give you what your gals need.
A good lesson, though. Keep your supplements as pure as possible, especially in regards to N. GH makes a product called CaMg+, good stuff and no nitrogen:thumbsup:

Can't get any pictures atm man. I've typed in calcium def on Google and the spots on the leafs are exactly the same. I have plant magic calmag plus with has 2. Something % nitrogen in it. And I'm using Sensi bloom not sure in how much N it contains sorry. Yeah I've messed up with what calmag to get lol

Use egg shells , powder them up ....
That is the best source of Ca out there, and the absorbtion rate is around 80%, if you grow organic.
The affected leaves still will look ugly, but you should pay attention to the new growth ....
If I ware you I would use foliar feed at that stage (if it is really severe, you didn't post the picture), not with the egg shells hahaha
You really need to show us what the damage is though ..... It makes it almost impossible to diagnose without seeing the patient, but if you right with te def of Ca then go for foliar feed for the fastes recovery, using egg shells it wil take longer.
And the thing with autos is, you don't have much time....good luck (for foliar feed use alga mic,and Rizotonic which will act as stres relievent, and help with the recovery)

I'm with Pio, a light foliar might be the best way to go to stop this, maybe start with 1/4 ml per liter and see how they handle it.

Egg shells will take a lot longer! By the time they break down and release any useful amount of Ca, your grow will be over.
Check out this link on molasses, Think. It also gives a good breakdown on what brands contain what. I've used it as a Ca supplement with good results. I use one TBSP per gallon, but I dissolve it in a bit of hot water first. After it's cool, in go the rest of my nutes. Just don't foliar with the molasses.

Good luck, Brother!

....Think-- If this is your alternative Ca-Mg, it's still better than the other stuff,... I see it's formulation is still oxide based, which don't like compared to those that are carbonate based,... didn't we show you some alternative brands, like GO CaMg+, or their other hydro' version one, CaliMagic? Plenty of choices out there, but you need to read the labels to see what the sourcing is, ..I'm thinking oxides will mess with pH more than other types,...Anyway, at a value of 2, and the low N in the Bloom, you should be fine to up it to 2ml's at least,.. the dosage they give is for regular inputs, not for correcting a defc., which needs to be higher; note the % Ca/Mg on your product- 3.5% and 1.5%, which is good and comparable to others, but the label dosage seems lighter in comparison,... do you have molasses around? That will add some Ca, without the N and some Mg and K as well, plus the sugar will make the soil herd happy, and in turn, your plants happy! 1tsp/qt for a couple rounds a few days apart, plus the MagneCal,... Do me a favor, and check the pH of the wtaer you use, then the MagneCal soln. after mixing, i want to see what the oxide based stuff does to pH,... I still recommend getting a carbonate based Ca-Mg product to eliminate any N input worries,...

Right okay I'll hunt for some molasses today. My ph of the water is 6.5. I put the calmag in first the base nutrients then additives. Im on a bit of a budget now I've already spent to much, had to get a new set up and that's why I haven't bothered getting another brand yet man. I'll try the molasses today of I can

@Waira been using molasses every 3 days and still getting more spots. Not sure whether to just forget about it and carry on as I have 22 days left? Hope you can get back to me thanks
