What about you Farmer Dee?
I am by no means an expert but when @BigSm0 helped me switch cobs all of my buds started coming out denser. I grow in coco so it is a little different for me but 2-3 gallons give me the same results as 5 gallons I do water twice a day though. Good looking plants.Day 57...
One thing I've noticed with the COB is denser and stickier nugs. Can anybody verify this? Only a few grows in so not sure if it's a strain thing or the light.

Love how the LST worked and for future grows I need to do this for other branches. Lower nugs still small but very dense as well. See below

Tent mate on the right , Berry Bomb auto by Bomb. Not documenting her but she's a good looking one color wise. I think she needed more cal/Mag , she's in same soil and everything else but yellowed out a bit. Her colors are nice though and she's dense and smells like licorice.

I'm thinking 2- 3 more weeks for both, they each have a couple amber trichomes so far.

Going to play Dr this winter, try my hand with some CS and make some pollen. Make copies of strains that aren't here anymore.Lol! I hear ya. I hope you get some jars full that will afford you the opportunity to do a little Dr. Frankenstein on a plant. Good luck to you and Rican.
Why is it not as easy? What do you mean, what's the difference bro? I don't know anything about cobs man. Then again, I don't do anything with my p150 now lol. Only moved it 2-3 times from the start, probably to close now hahaha.Running cobs is not as easy as some under powered panels but when it's done right and the plants get the exact nutrients they need cobs will definitely give you bigger denser and more resinous buds. Part of it is the spectrum, with any cct, temp cob you are giving the plants much more than colored led panels. Red and blue are ok but far from full spectrum. Next is the power. Some single diode panels use inefficient leds making the total amount of light much lower than expected or stated. Quality Cobs can deliver up to 2 1/2 times the amount of light per watt. Light makes plants grow and that's what these are good at doing.
Not talking about any particular panel but the par on a lot of lights available is much lower than expected based on wattage. For instance if you had a 150 watt light at 20% efficient that's only 30 par watts. A 300 watt panel 60 par watts. This is also wall wattage and not claimed. So a claimed 300 watt panel is say 150 wall watts @20% is only 30 par watts. With good cobs your up between 50-60% efficient so there is a hell of a lot more useable light per watt. The biggest thing is LED panels are usually bigger. Cobs are 20-35mm. Your pushing a lot of light from a smaller space making it more intenseWhy is it not as easy? I misunderstood how you stated it, I see what you are saying now. Soon enough I will be picking some up. Might be 1 at a time but I will get them. Not talking about any particular panel but the par on a lot of lights available is much lower than expected based on wattage.
