Hopefully I am not to far away from my first harvest and cure. So, I have read all the stickies and loadsa great info, but I have one question.
As a real tight wad, or if u like, just plain mean, I would be most pleased if someone could recommend a Kilner type jar that does not cost the earth. Here in the UK the price of Mason or Kilner jars are huge. Can you put me in touch with a cheap supplier or an equivalent make of jar that does not cost me an arm and a flipper.
This would make me most chuffed.
Toodle pip. eP

Howdy dude,

I bought mine (Kilner) from Homebase, they've got them on sale atm. Nice and cheap :)

I pay between 2-4 quid(depending on size). I generally pick mine up from Independent shops(not pound shops, but along those lines). Have a sniff around(if all else fails, then Sainsburys!) Or follow Caps advice(we don`t have a homebase, where I am! :( ) :Sharing One:

Thank you chaps.
If ever there was great advert for these forums, this is it. Within 30 mins I have not one, but three, brilliant replies with exactly the information I wanted. You guys are the best. Why would you want any other forum when the quality and community spirit is as good as this.
So glad to be a part of this.
Slaps, Karma, cheers and such and such all round. AFN rules!
My flipper salutes you. eP.

I just bought two myself. Yep, they were £1.50 each and are super quality. The Poundshop do them also (for a pound of course) but the ASDA ones are worth the extra 50p
Thanks guys for the info.
